I also have never been a fan of the other versions of goldea, yet I gave it a try and I'm glad I did so! I wish I was getting more from this fragrance than what I am, but I am not picking up the floral notes much either. Goldea the Roman Night Absolute evokes the frantic desire to live a passionate night in the Eternal City: Rome. I did not get true nuances of vanilla; it would’ve added much needed creaminess and softness to this sharp formula.

It's very pleasant perfume, with scent of peony and rose, I don't personally smell mulberry, also I adore this fruit. Overall rating: n/a - I don't feel like I even put on any perfume, so its like trying to rate nothing. So let me be first to say, THIS SMELLS LIKE THE BATH CUBES YOU FIND ON THE BOTTOM SHELF AT RITE-AIDE! The most I can say is that it opens with a timid cloud of soft florals and bergamot, before immediately losing momentum. Goldea The Roman Night Absolute "evokes the desire to live a passionate night in the Eternal City: Rome…After dark, lights out.Like another mentioned before, Dior original Poison (violett bottle) comes to mind - in a bad way in my case -Absolutely not my thing. Undeniably beautiful sensual creation, one of the best recent releases on the sweet/musky side, yet.

I don't think it is "too similar" to the Goldea Roman Nights, which I think might be a bit easier to wear, for folks that are not fans of patchouli.I use more pumps than normal, but still, if I don’t put my wrist right under my nose I can’t detect a thing. I just wish it projected better and lasted longer because this scent (and the bottle) are so beautiful. for a person who loves young, floral, fresh and airy perfumes, i would never like this kinda perfume, idk how to describe this one but it's nectar sweet imo, however i start to like it as it's very seductive and mysterious scent for anyone wanna portray such image of a grown woman (im not trying to be a grown woman yet at the age of 27 lol) but still find it suitable to wear at nights, dates with any guy you're trying to flirt etc. I guess that is because I have some troubles with recent "intense" trend: they seem to add some fruity notes to scents, to make them more pronounced. This one, unfortunately, is not for me simply for the fact that it turns into a patchouli bomb on my skin.
