About this deal

Oddly enough, the Pop Silent was able to illustrate how silent the NZXT H7 Flow is, because it nearly matched the Pop Silent’s noise level. I know this case was designed to be as silent as possible, but I would’ve liked to see more airflow. Shame both cases aren't a few mm wider with more space behind the mobo though, would make things much easier.

I saw a chance to get paid for my knowledge, and have since written more than a thousand pieces (many of them for the seminal tech site Tom's Hardware) before finding my latest opportunity: with PCMag. I presume this is because the market for them is relatively small, and the margins aren't amazing either. Inside, we find three front fans mounted as intakes (plus one rear exhaust), enough distance between the expansion slots and fans to hold cards up to 430mm long, and an inset portion toward the front of the motherboard tray that limits motherboard depth to a measured 11. I guess they make the Torrent as well, so can afford to make cases that appeal to other end of scale.

We're making continuous improvements to the compatibility checker and would love to hear your feedback! inch drives on rubber grommets, nine rubber grommets (eight plus a spare), four cable ties, and four offset radiator brackets. The smaller case needed the extra offset to fit our hardware, but today’s XL version has plenty of room without the extra 12. Still, if you like the look, it's a solid new entry in the big-tower stakes that will take a truly huge motherboard for an HEDT or workstation build. Fractal fuse flair with function in the new Pop series of cases that doesn't skimp onaesthetics or flexibility.

The Pop Silent offers asound-damped build in excellent quality, giving all users plenty ofoptions and room to maneuver. Tom's Hardware is part of Future US Inc, an international media group and leading digital publisher. Plus, it features easy cable management with multiple tie-down points, pre-mounted velcro straps and convenient extra-large pass-through holes.

For a mainstream gaming rig or mixed use in a room where you want to keep things quiet it should be fine–just don’t expect the kind of temperatures you’d get with a more mainstream case. Fractal Design says that the mesh is the filter, which means that users will more easily be able to see when their filters need to be cleaned. The Pop XL doesn’t support the full EATX motherboard spec, but its 11-inch-plus motherboard mounting depth is more than sufficient for most high-end consumer motherboards that claim to need a EATX case.

Comes with three 120 mm Aspect 12 RGB (Pop Air RGB TG version only) fans (and supports two more for a total of five). This system allows us to produce a substantial amount of heat and effectively test the Fractal Design Pop Air‘s cooling capabilities. The entire series offers a solid foundation and excellent build quality, giving all users plenty of options and room to maneuver. There's an extent to which PCS is only going to offer a certain number of configuration options: they can't offer everything that a PC user might want. All outputs are designed only to enable daisy-chaining of these devices, with the original connection leading to a motherboard header. DEDICATED SPACE FOR FURTHER CABLE ROUTING – Fractal Design offers easy access to your build, ensuring that creating your dream system is hassle-free. The only area for this case to draw in air is from a mesh panel on the right front edge of the case that’s a bit over an inch wide. Type-C cable that’s being sold separately, but we can't knock a case too hard that does so much else right.

We have absolutely no influence on where PCS market demographic is, but Mini ITX will make up a very small margin and with millions in the turnover per year, you have to understand that you taking your money elsewhere wouldn't resonate. Fractal Design still rates the Pop Air RGB as supporting a mere 170mm power-supply depth, which seems conservative given our far-more-generous measurement of 240mm.COMES WITH 3X ASPECT 12 RGB FANS PRE-INSTALLED – Your PC will stay cool with Fractal’s Pop Mini case designs, as it features a unique hexagonally patterned mesh front, which creates a striking visual effect. com is a leading authority on technology, delivering lab-based, independent reviews of the latest products and services.
