About this deal

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a bookworm forced to stay home, must be in want of…well…nothing really. It would seem there's quite a few clues throughout about an underlying plot, and I cannot wait to dive into the next one and learn more! Rina Kent's masterful storytelling, combined with a captivating plot and well-developed characters, makes this book an absolute gem. She was competing to be in the top ten percent at the super elite high school but they were rarely in class and she was never studying or doing homework.

In case you're wondering, I read this book about 3 months ago, and I've come a long way since then in this trope. But I don’t understand resulting complications–then again I believe that is by far the last thing I should be cross-examining. He doesn’t outright bully her, but he also doesn’t do anything about it and since one word from him to the other students would stop it, she blames him for starting it and letting it go on. The relationship here is completely unhealthy and includes what most would consider full on sexual assault. The intensity of Aiden, coupled with Elsa’s strength and burning curiosity, continued to grow throughout the trilogy.

The only issue I have is that the male voice is so obviously not even close to a teenagers that I kept thinking he was much older than Elsa. So right, that is where Steel Princess left off, and Rina doesn’t disappoint with the story continuation. For all of Rina Kent’s unbundling of backstory explaining what ingredients went into creating present-day Elsa and Aiden, we can’t begin to guess how two monsters will build their twisted kingdom. Since that incident, she’s been an outcast, bullied by her peers, isolated except for her best friend Kim, who is also an outcast.

Whether light or shadow, the fae are a far cry from fairy tales, and now they’ve made Bryn a pawn in their dark games for power. All the females are needy for love and affection but trade any hope for good things so they can live off the interest of the lies they tell themselves about the great future the could have if only they spring there trap. The book was already unnecessarily long, with bland writing and repetitive dialogues and scenes, and the author dares to bore us with these inner conflicting thoughts. She is training both character and reader to feel affection for the nightmare and molding us to love our cruel bully. Twisted Kingdom opened up Aiden King’s black heart, and I felt he had a wealth of character depth–but it served to prove to me that Elsa is a fickle and fairweather girlfriend who I couldn’t support. They randomly have a close encounter and Aiden all of the sudden feels like they're going to be together.

Deviant King" is a dark high school bully romance in full meaning of those words and it isn't the book for everyone's taste. So anyways, no one knows why he is so affected by her presence, buuuut we find out his reasons as the story progresses and let me tell you.She spends her private days in London laughing like an evil mastermind about adding mayhem to her expanding universe. Keira Stevens' generic English accent was mostly good but if you are narrating a book and referring to places then you should check the pronunciation. His black mind, heart, and soul make him an intriguing and unpredictable character, and I found myself both hating and loving him in equal measure. I try to push at his chest, but he reaches his free hand to my nipple and pinches it while squeezing my neck harder.

Living with her aunt and uncle, she’s used to blending in the background, and hiding her emotions because that makes her feel more in control. If you are riding the wave of Bully or Dark High School Romance, you will enjoy the hell out of this book. He says she likes being forced into doing things she thinks she should have issues with, and she isn’t sure if he is right or if she just hates him. I think this is one of those bully romances done right – dark hero, suspenseful plot and a strong heroine. This whole cliff hanger is killing me it’s what brought this book together I DID NOT SEE IT COMING . Her heroes are anti-heroes and villains because she was always the weirdo who fell in love with the guys no one roots for.
