If you're after a genuine chocolate-scented perfume, INEXPENSIVE but definitely not cheap go ahead and get this one. I think it smells really good, it smells like alcohol when you first spray it but then again it is cheap. While those who value presentation might be a bit disappointed (there are no super-thick cardboard boxes here, and the cap is clearly made of a lightweight plastic), I wasn't bothered by those things. I am yet to wear it for a full day so can't comment on the longevity yet, though I can say I have been wearing it for 2-3 hours now and it's still going strong.
I still get alot of compliments that i smell like cookies but i can never seem to smell it on myself after a few minutes. The perfume is full of luring tones, dominated by a delicious vanilla with a sinfully irritating chocolate praline. A few hours in it actually reminds me of Hilde Soliani Donna Sentenza for some odd reason - maybe since they both smell synthetic. Although i hate gourmand scents this one is an exception because I love the smell of milk and this one smells like chocolate milk. Because this is so cheap, you get what you pay for, so it's nothing over the top amazing, but it is very cozy, and smells very dessert/gourmand. I wish this was a little bit stronger because I absolutely love the consistency of the oil and the roll-on applicator. It leans feminine somewhat, but I think it has some masculine qualities (namely the musk) that makes this a fine candidate for a unisex gourmand. I do find that the oil sits a little closer to the skin, but I prefer it over the new spray I just bought.
The first blast was pure alcohol, but that dissipated very quickly and I was left with a beautiful, soft, fluffy vanilla. I just got the 50 ml version, I don’t have the perfume oil but I have to say this is very sweet (in my case that is exactly what I was looking for). Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.also think this would layer nicely with a less sweet gourmand like some sort of tea or sesame scent or like a nutty almond or coffee. Once dried down, faint projection and no silage, I literally have to sniff all over my clothes to find it. i was pretty let down because of all the hype but its still a delicious scent, just not what people were saying.
