About this deal

Carry On Spaceman (1961), scripted by Norman Hudis and planned to be released shortly after Carry On Regardless. Owing to the increased sexual nature of the film it was given a 'AA' certificate in the UK, which excluded anyone under the age of 14. This initial 'pattern' was broken with the fifth film in 1961, Carry On Regardless, but it still followed a similar plot to that of many of the early films—a small group of misfit newcomers to a job make comic mistakes, but come together to succeed in the end. Norman Hudis was initially asked back to produce a script for what would be the 23rd Carry On film of the series.

I'm still amazed ITV did all of Victoria and the new Poldark, along with Bodyguard, which I don't expect will continue on the format beyond the first series. In this send up of the Hammer Horror movies, there are pastiches of all the horror greats from Frankenstein to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. The only 'Carry On' not to be included was 'Carry On Columbus' - it is unknown why this is but it could possibly be because the DVD's and VHS tapes included within the collection were all released by Carlton International Media Limited with 'Carry On Columbus' being under a different label. The rights to their work have been all over the place, and could explain why all copies (rental, retail, TV, etc) have come from exactly the same 4:3 tape master, rather than anyone being able to strike new ones. Other films they are eyeing up include The 39 Steps, which seems to point to them only working on British films of some importance. Despite the tight, two-month filming schedule, it took three days to complete the final dinner scene.

They seem to have started with Screaming in October 2013, but then the next release, Cleo, didn't come until May 2014, seven months later. Carry On Regardless was the first film of the series not to follow a plot; it consisted instead of a series of situational sketches. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. The previous eight - Carry On Sergeant, Nurse, Teacher, Constable, Regardless, Cruising, Cabby and Jack - are already available in the previous Collection 1 and Collection 2 sets. A second attempt at Carry On Again Nurse came in 1979, after the series left Rank Films and moved to Hemdale. It is also apparent that the 'Carry On Laughing' TV series may not have originally been planned to form part of the series hence the 'blank' spines creating the off-centre caricature logo in the line up.

The four films in Collection 3 also come with their original theatrical trailer and a photo gallery each. The end of the film was going to be a tribute to Jacques, with Sims turning around a photograph of the actress and asking "Well, did I do alright? In 2007, the pun "Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me", spoken by Kenneth Williams (playing Julius Caesar) in Carry on Cleo, was voted the funniest one-line joke in film history. A film critic for the Kinematograph Weekly commented "Make no mistake, Carry On Constable will give exhibitors big houses", [24] while a correspondent at The Times thought that the film had "little to recommend it . Carry On Emmannuelle began filming in April 1978, finished the following month and was released in November the same year. We do not have Collection 2 on our release schedule in the next two months, but hopefully in the future we will be looking at a second collection.
