Britney Spears Curious (100ml, Eau De Parfum Spray)

This smells just like shampoo to me, like a Pantene or something, which isn't really what I look for in a perfume - I love fragrances with character and body, and this definitely does not fulfill that criteria. The pear is there to bring sweetness, but I wouldn't immediately know there's pear in there if I didn't read the notes first. Due to my everlasting love of Britney's Believe, I finally decided to try another one of her scents, and so I blind bought a 100 ml bottle of this since it was so cheap, and seemed appealing. Curious takes the magnolia in a more aquatic, fruity direction with pear but still has a touch of creamy white-floral from tuberose. Possible culprits I can spot are maybe the pear and vanilla, but I can't say I detect either; all I get is a blast of sugar-sweetness and a symphony of florals underneath.

I rated it as okay, only because it's not my type but I could see a lot of people liking it Silage I would say is 6feet. I’m not sure what’s goin on with this one at the moment, could be the not so warm weather here in San Diego, or it could be my Nose. I was reminded of it when I smelled one of the Burberry Her frags (can’t remember which one) but the dry down smelled EXACTLY like Curious to me and ever since then I’ve been wanting it back in my collection. If you are able to find a vintage bottle, I think you should definitely give this fragrance a try (if you haven't already) regardless of whether you are a Britney fan or not (I wasn't at the time). I bought a 100 ml tester recently which still had the original charms and the original spray cap and it smells exactly as the various bottles I owned between 2005-2007 did.I find it refreshing in summer yet has enough strength to be suitable in winter, and I also find that it lasts for ages on me whatever the weather.

I don't know if it's been reformulated, or because I'm older, or due to the different city/climate I'm in - but this is MUCH better than it used to be.Overall I get a powdery, dewy, sweet magnolia-pear scent with a faint shampoo vibe in the background. Fantasy, much more sweet and fruity and girlish, probably would have been a more suitable scent for little me. I am 28 now, and while this perfume still smells sexy to me, it's more like a teenage/young adult type of sexy to me now.
