The Men's Cornice Interactive III Jacket combines fully waterproof yet breathable GORE-TEX® fabric with an excellent hood, deep pockets and a longer cut for extra coverage.

The colour (black) and type of material does tend to both attract and “display” dust particles - particularly in bright sunlight! Fully waterproof - breathable, waterproof 2-layer GORE-TEX® construction for highly reliable protection from the rain and wind. You can even zip-in your favourite fleece using the interactive zip on the inside, transforming this waterproof shell into a fully winter-proof garment.Apart from the slightly shorter pockets this one is of the same quality and I am looking forward to another 16 years of wear both for hill walking and general use. The hood rolls away neatly to form a stiff collar to keep the wind out,the material is soft to the tough with nice detailing.

Made from Adelaide 2-Layer GORE-TEX®, it's completely waterproof and windproof, yet light enough to be comfortable even when you're trekking long distances. Berghaus' classic GORE-TEX jacket features a soft handle and smart looking outer combined with GORE-TEX laminate, creating an outer jacket that will keep out the elements both on and off the hill. Whether you’re tackling a mountain peak or striding out along the coastline, our original Berghaus walking jacket is a big favourite. Same applies to this current purchase as I knew what I was getting and am happy with the jacket overall. The double Storm Flap on the centre-front zip really increases protection, and I do not like jackets that just have a front zip open to the elements.

It is difficult to give five stars for a garment unless you have owned it for a couple of years as only time can tell if it is going to be worth the expense however initially I am very impressed.

When new any waterproof Jacket or Trouser in the rain the water should bead up and roll of the jacket.
