About this deal

as an innocent, naive, working-class lad with little education or savoir faire, not only is he self-reflective throughout this narrative, but he's also pretty spot-on in his analyses of class, economic disparities and social inequalities. Where do you start, you would think this book is made up, but the main performer in this book Ben Foster has made it blatantly clear this is based on actual events. Ben Foster invites the reader into his life as a male sex worker, giving us every detail of his alluring and complicated story. Going from a low-paid job looking after boys that really needed his attention, with his spare time devoted to massage.

I would like to thank Thistle Publishers and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘The Gigolo’ in exchange for my honest unbiased review. We all know as do anyone who’s watched a lot of football when your side is winning and clearly going to win all you want to do is gloat and celebrate not fight. STANDING before a room full of beautiful women, including a Hollywood actress and a famous TV host, Ben Foster froze as he was asked for “a massage – with a twist”.

Ben Foster is a working stiff who manages through his skill at massages to become part of the world of private jets, Parisian sex clubs, endless lines of cocaine and orgies in country houses with a Who’s Who of celebrities, MPs, and the international super rich. you be the judge)lucky young man’s journey into the world of money and privilege most of us only encounter on television.

The believable storyline and well developed and relatable characters leave nothing to the imagination, as the authors graphic descriptions of the daily shenanigans take you deep into this world of how the other half live. The author paints a vivid picture of the world the rich and famous live in and the stark contrast with Ben’s world is powerful. They groom him, use him, but it is the enticement of money, bringing a better life for himself and his family, that drives him to make choices he would have never imagined doing before, and all while overlooking the fact that the harder one plays, there always comes the time when one loses.

Binding these warps and wefts together is a fascinating and illuminating description of various forms of massage therapy and their impact on our health and fitness. That’s lead to a wildfire in the home end to a point a lot of people don’t actually know what they’re fighting for. With his dark hair, blue eyes, and robust appendage that the ladies dub Big Ben, the shy careworker is drawn into a world of private jets, Parisian sex clubs, state secrets, endless lines of cocaine and orgies in country houses with a Who’s Who of celebrities, MPs and the international super rich. Ben started out as a poor married man with three kids, working for minimal pay as a working in a home for special needs kids. This book may sound very adventurous and exciting, have a lot about his sexual exploits, drugs and such, but it’s a very sad story indeed. Having sex with so many women and each of them leaving her own mark on him yet his wife doesn’t seem to really question it! Whichever, this is an unputdownable read as nice, married, father-of-three Ben Foster inadvertently falls into the life of a male 'escort' and sex worker.
