I just sprayed CDNI on my left arm and the OG Tom Ford Noir de Noir on my right arm, and on the opening CDNI is actually a bit darker heavier rose, whereas TF NdN has a more photorealistic rose. I don't like when people put an age on perfumes, but it really feels too fancy and rich smelling for a casual college student. I can smell the Rose, the geranium and the Amber which makes it a little sweet, just the right amount of fresh. It has virtually nothing in common with Club de Nuit White Impériale, which I also love--that one, which is purported to be inspired by Delina Exlusif, is a creamy vanilla with a much spicier and incensey rose. This is definitely more like Chance than Coco Mademoiselle to me although they are of course very similar.

More like a heavier floral, It’s really strong, but it’s still lighter fragranced, it’s not sticky, but because of the strength, it seems heavier? There’s vetiver that adds a bit of that harshness that gives this perfume that classic old school/designer ish quality and it does smell way more expensive then it actually is but is definitely alot sweeter than CCM and less refined/smooth. Since it is quite heavy, i mix my Ellie Saab Girl of Now with this and people don't miss to say i smell so good. Beautiful earthy dried petals, almost jammy but not quite that sweet rose; probably the perfume I can smell the most rose in.CDNI also seems to have a bit of a minty green wet earthy feel underlying the beginning whereas NdN has a slightly drier earthy undertone. I actually spray one time on the top of my forearm and tap with the other and it's more than enough juice for me and everyone around me to smell it. Instead of amber, NdN has an earthier, more masculine truffle note which makes the fragrance overall lean towards being unisex.

Lasting power is eternal, sillage is strong, and this is a perfectly blended juice for spring or autumn nights. I’m in my 20s looking for a dark perfume (I heard it smelt vampy), and when I first smelled this, I got flash backs to my mom getting ready to go clubbing. My husband blind bought it for me and as soon as I smelled it I started to panic that some day it might be discontinued.If regular Club de Nuit is for the put-together, classy, professional and/or confident woman, Club de Nuit Intense is for her equally put-together, gothy, raven-haired sister. Big mistake, it produced a headache and nausea which unfortunately reoccurs everytime I spray this on. Although I got a bit bored with it after 20 years I still consider it a masterpiece and Armaf made a great dupe of it. Another reminder that not all perfumes are going to smell the same on everyone and even the notes will show different depending on your chemistry/hormones/health. If you're GenX or Xennial, this smells like your mom and her friends when they got dressed to go out in the 80s.

I'm not crazy for the honey and lemon or the soapiness so it just sits on my shelf and I rarely reach for it so was a waste of money for me. CdN, albeit faint, has a certain spiciness to it, whereas NdN has nothing that pinches the nose in any way. Top notes are Orange, Grapefruit, Bergamot and Peach; middle notes are Rose, Geranium, Jasmine and Litchi; base notes are Patchouli, Vanilla, Musk and Vetiver.

i also am not a huge fan of the first few minutes after spraying, just too many bright floral opening notes hitting me at once and it feels almost acrid and obnoxious, but i've always been sensitive to higher brighter sharper notes so. I own Noir de Noir and blind bought this because one of my friends wanted to know if it's like Noir de Noir. The performance of this is almost too strong for how I like to wear my fragrance, and it lasts all day. Today, I am sampling it on myself (40/M), and on my own self I smell more rose compared to the chocolaty and camphor-like earthy patchouli I smell in the air when my mom would wear it.

On my skin, Club De Nuit starts with a synthetic chemical blitz softening quickly for a lovely few minutes before vanishing completely. This smell makes me want a hug from someone or for someone to hug me and take a deep sniff (that would be the ultimate compliment! The lasting power on this is literal days, this smells so fresh, feminine, slightly sweet and definitely floral.CM has a smooth, sweet, refreshing fragrance that doesn't smell like chemicals or make you want to cough when you spray it.
