I don't get as much saffron as others seem to, and I'd place patchouli, musk, and gaiac much higher in the list than they currently are. The spiciness is there and is so is the freshness with a high quality pleasantness holding them together. I wasn't crazy when I tried it initially, perhaps because of my own expectations and previous experiences with the brand.

Although pretty much like every other Amouage, it's uniqueness and the subtle craft with which it's made is surely going to get you noticed. a gentleman perfume for men, with burst of citrus smells, then woodsy pencil shaving smell of gucci homme( th eold one not the new one ) on skin it develop fast than on cloth, the one that i like is the drydown musky leathery oud smell. Top notes are elemi, Grapefruit, Cardamon, Pepper and Orange; middle notes are Saffron, Orris Root, Jasmine and Geranium; base notes are Cedar, Leather, Vetiver, Musk, Guaiac Wood and Patchouli. It contain notes of grapefruit, orange, neroli, black pepper, clove bud, cypress, saffron, nutmeg, labdanum, olibanum, cumin, orris, jasmine, bourbon, geranium, guaiac and cedarwood.A nice fresh sexy floral blend down there in the vivid wrapping of light cheerfull velvet, perfectly in balance under the sky of the sunny freshness of the top notes and floating like an adored and beloved king seated on his throne on top of this superb creation of the magic of the base notes. Now I'm not sure when this was released officially but It only just arrived the other week at Selfridges in time for winter when Beloved to me anyway is clearly more suited to the summer months. Beloved Man opens in a zesty spicy manner with some Grapefruit and an amazingly naturally refreshing note of Cedarwood. The sillage becomes increasingly discreet, while the perfume itself grows more subtle, abstract and hazy in its notes.

If every Amouage scent is a beast in different clothes, then Beloved Man is a refined, polished beast indeed. Its creations stand out and are admired because they’re complicated, complex, nuanced, and different. The special edition Beloved for Men by Amouage is a woody Oriental fragrance with spicy top notes accentuated by an opulent heart of floral notes. Over the hours, the fragrance weakens more and more until the next morning you can only sniff a hint of this sweet-spicy fragrance. The cumin has now come and working very beautifully with the jasmine and now one can sense where all this warmth of this fragrance comes from.The fragrance was created by illustrious perfumers in Grasse France under the guidance of Christopher Chong, Creative Director for Amouage. Amouage Beloved Man (2013) feels like an unlikely release from the luxury Omanese perfume house, but considering the existence of Reflection Man (2007), I can see it.

Why Amouage decided to discontinue it will remain a mistery for me since it is in my opinion a Jewel in the Amouage portafolio. It’s absolutely beautiful in that way, feeling as rich, smooth, and effortless as the silkiest creation from a chef in a restaurant devoted to lemony desserts.Of all the scents in Amouage's arsenal, Beloved Man is the one that's the most effortlessly pleasurable to wear. He was worth every cent to me personally and I am happy to have discovered him quietly and secretly for myself. It would still be simplistic, safe, and lacking much flair, but, generally speaking, I no longer expect much more than that from MFK.
