I'm writing this because I love aventus and the pineapple that comes in it and truly think aventus is the best thing a human can smell. This is more of an aquatic woody fragrance, the citrus is quite prominent and the elemi is a good choice as a head note that blends in well. You’re going to get a super juicy pineapple up front and that juicy pineapple stays with the fragrance from the top to the base.

Gift sets are packages which include the fragrance along with additional bonus items, which may be a shower gel, after shave, bag, etc. This review was written quickly after application, so I will have to come back and give an update on performance. It smells like a resinous branch from a tree in the woods, but still light because of the citrus note. I found both the EDP and the Parfum to be rather dry and scratchy on the opening (I didn't get anything that could be described as 'lemon' (pledge or otherwise!

Whoever claims this is better than Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man because it lacks the synthetic opening, check your nose. My gym buddy even asked me if it today was an Aventus day when she smelled me on the treadmill next to her (she knows that I am into fragrances and her husband wears Aventus so she knows this one). However on an EXACT side by side comparison L’Adventure completely blows Aventus out of the water now, in terms of a better more refined and stronger opening, and much stronger projection and much longer longevity. Update: I was recently informed that there are two versions of Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man: France version that more closely resembles a fruity Aventus batch and UAE version that resembles a smokey batch.

I think this fragrance does smell good and the quality is good as well, but no matter how good a scent smells if it doesn't last an hour it is simply useless in my opinion. Launched in 2019, this Chypre Floral fragrance opens with invigorating notes of Bergamot, Lemon, and Elemi. Their other offerings in the Amber Oud (Tobacco Vanille and Baccarat Rouge 540 clones) as well as the Portfolio series (Neroli Canvas, Floral Sculpture, etc. This is not like my older smokey version of aventus, but the more pineapple-dominant batch that a friend of mine has.I also had a FB of the original L'Aventure EDP but it was the same effect to my nose as the CDNIM EDP/Parfum.
