About this deal

Show off your paradise – play on the same system with a total of 4 people***, or play together online** or over local wireless*** for fun with up to 8 players Local multiplayer requires one compatible controller per player. Additional controllers (sold separately) may be required. Up to 8 players registered as users on a Nintendo Switch console can live on one shared island, and up to four residents of one island can play simultaneously on one console. Please note: only one island can exist per Nintendo Switch console, irrespective of the number of users registered to or copies of the game used on one console. One Nintendo Switch and one copy of the game is required for each unique island.

Firstly, this is MOST IMPORTANT - The Nintendo Switch Lite is technically not weaker than the standard model. The processor and memory equipment is just as good - and even more energy-efficient. This means about 30 minutes more battery life compared to the original. Compared to the new 2019 version, however, there is no such advantage. The display has shrunk by 0.7 inches to 5.5 inches, so it's even a little smaller than current phones. In addition to the TV output, the vibration function of the controller and the infrared camera for motion capture have also been left out. As a result, not all games are compatible with the Lite, but only those that explicitly support handheld mode. This is the majority, but titles like Super Mario Party, the Just Dance series and 1-2 Switch are missing. Changed HandlingThe holiday season is upon us, which means it's time for another Nintendo Switch holiday bundle. But 2023 is different, as there are three bundles rather than the usual one. In addition to the familiar Mario Kart Switch bundle, Nintendo has released a pair of Animal Crossing-themed Switch Lite bundles that are exclusive to specific retailers. All three Switch bundles launched October 6. You can buy the blue Animal Crossing-themed Switch Lite exclusively at Walmart, while the coral version is only up for grabs at Target. The Mario Kart bundle is available at all major retailers, and the same goes for the Mario Red Switch OLED, which also happened to launch the same day.

When it comes to ergonomics, it depends on how big your hands are - The smaller the Switch Lite, the more likely it is to suit you. In general, the device is more compact in the hands than the original model, which is great. With local wireless or online* multiplayer, you’ll discover that your island isn’t the only paradise out there! Head to the airport and take a trip to a friend’s island or invite them to yours instead, with up to eight people able to play together on a single island at any one time.Watch as the time of day and seasons match real life—even your hemisphere! Each day holds potential for surprises and discoveries Please note: There is a newer version of the Nintendo Switch out under the name of Nintendo Switch (OLED Model). Of course, it's not a redesign of this Lite version as it just makes slight enhancements to the original design, but the OLED panel and the adjustable stand that version features might convince some shoppers to gravitate towards it. Collect materials to construct everything from furniture to tools! Then, use what you create to give your island a personal touch Create your personal getaway and customize your character, home, decorations, and even the landscape itself A good 2.5 years after its market launch, the market-busting Nintendo Switch has a sister model. As the keenest detectives will work out from the name, this is a slimmed-down version, kind of like what Sony does with its PlayStation Slim, before it started going down the route of producing more powerful versions.
