About this deal

Absolutely loved this story, the writing, the characters and the scenery from Los Angeles to the Italian Amalfi coast, brilliant! As the guests gather under the azure skies of the Amalfi coast, scandal and intrigue are waiting to be revealed, and one of the guests will do anything to hide the truth .

The story mixes to perfection elements of a family saga between two winemaking families, dark family memories with long lasting consequences, revenge, relationships going sour and others blooming, business deals and criminal activities with involvement of the Camorra, lots of nice foods and wines, and everywhere sun, sea, the scent of pine trees and of the Italian nature. This time the setting was Italy, and yes of course you know who will end up with who, the baddies that will throw a spanner in the works and the hero that will fix it all. Add a jealous ex-Italian lover (Isabella) and you have all the ingredients to keep you turning the pages.

He seemed determined that this wedding should go ahead, as did Rafaella, and Philippa couldn’t understand why it was so important to them or why she felt that everyone was in on something apart from her. She wore a shift dress in cream linen with a tan belt that emphasized her hourglass figure – less slender than it had been in her youth, but still adored by her husband. Yes it’s predictable, yes it’s been done before, yes it’s full of skinny beautiful rich people but it’s a concept that works and Carol does it well. Still, I wanted Giorgio to get his due for being an absolute douchebag, so one character did inspire strong emotions in me. After delivering the forecast on BBC Breakfast as usual, the cameras panned back to Jon Kay and Nina Warhurst when proceedings were stopped for a minute as the trio discussed Carol's other line of work, reports Birmingham Live.

The land as far as she could see belonged to her father, Salvatore Russo; the undulating hills in shades of sage and sun-scorched ochre stretching away to the distant horizon. Really great modern day romance and plenty of action and suspense woven into this beautifully written book, set over dual timelines and narrated by women from two generations of Italian winemakers. They’ve agreed to be the exclusive distributor for Casa di Russo across the whole of North America, with an agreement to increase the supply year on year over the next decade.
