Wanted to get an older Seiko 5 model before the supply runs out for good. I limited my choices down to the SNKL23 and SNKL45 as an everyday/ dress watch, but I can't decide on which I like more. The SNKL45 has the nicer case and bracelet, but the SNKL23 has the nicer dial IMO. I know the SNKL23 is famous because of the HODINKEE article. Thoughts? Would it be worth it to just put the SNKL23 dial into the SNKL45 case? Are there any key differences between the two respective lineups that I should be aware of? Which looks nicer in your opinion? It can be tough to make up your mind with watches. I would suggest giving it a bit more time since it seems like you're still hesitating.
