FAQs WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WIRELESS SPEAKER AND A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER? The result is that, as you increase the volume, this frequency imbalance becomes more pronounced. At about 60-70% volume, you get the sense that you’ve hit the Get Together Duo’s sweet spot in terms of fidelity, but it comes with sharply increased sibilance and brightness from the tweeters. It can be a bit painful.

Discover House of Marley, where music and sustainability merge for a unique audio experience. Our eco-friendly speakers, influenced by Bob Marley's passion for music and the environment, utilize mindfully sourced, sustainable materials and offer exceptional sound quality. Embrace the power of music with the top Bluetooth speaker choices in the United States while making a positive environmental impact. SUSTAINABLE BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS: EARTH-FRIENDLY MATERIALS IN HARMONY Our dedication to sustainability is evident in our Bluetooth sustainable speakers, made from responsibly sourced bamboo, recyclable aluminum, recycled plastic, and our sustainable REWIND® fabric and REGRIND® silicone and cork. These eco-friendly speakers look and feel fantastic while promoting a greener future. As a socially responsible brand, we support global reforestation through Project Marley and One Tree Planted. SIGNATURE SOUND: CONSCIOUS HIGH-QUALITY PERFORMANCE I did not try them with a turntable, but I did use an Astell & Kern SR25 hi-res portable music player. I tried it with the RCA inputs and the 3.5mm aux-in port, and in both instances, I had to max out both the SR25’s and the Get Together Duo’s volume to come even close to what the speakers could do with a wireless source. Even then, it didn’t sound as good as I’d hoped. Should you buy them? Finally, you could take a hybrid wired/wireless approach, using a combination of the RCA/aux inputs and Bluetooth. For example, you could connect (say) a turntable to the left speaker via their wired RCA or auxiliary connectors, and then wirelessly connect the left speaker to the right one via Bluetooth. Controls and indicatorsCONVENIENT FEATURES: Get Together 2 offers multi-pair technology to enables you to pair and connect your headset to two different Bluetooth audio devices at once. The right speaker contains a rechargeable battery so it can operate without any wires for a claimed 20 hours, but the left speaker needs to be plugged into an outlet. Crafted from bamboo and House of Marley’s own Rewind fabric made from reclaimed cotton, hemp, and recycled plastic, the Get Together Duo follow the company’s many other sustainably designed products. Electronics companies have yet to create a product that we’d consider “good” for the planet, but we can choose to buy the products that have been created with an intentionally smaller footprint, and the Get Together Duo certainly qualify. Switching over to The Boss, the Get Together Duos deftly handled Bruce Springsteen’s spare vocals and acoustic guitar strums on “The Ghost of Tom Joad” while warming up for the glowing notes from the synthesizers. I also liked the atmospherics and timbre of Larissa Devoda’s performance of Maurice Ravel’s solo piano words for the Centaur label, as well as the thrilling sweep of Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony as conducted by Carlos Kleiber for Deutsche Grammophon.

Nope! Bluetooth speakers do not require Wi-Fi connectivity. In fact, Bluetooth in general does not rely on Wi-Fi or internet connectivity. HOW DO I CHOOSE A WIRELESS BLUETOOTH SPEAKER? Turn it up. You physically wire into both speakers by splitting the left and right RCA plugs on the speaker end of your cable and connecting them to the appropriate terminals on each speaker. RECHARGEABLE & COMPATIBLE: Enjoy a continuous 15 hours of playtime from the powerful and rechargeable battery for all-day listening. The advanced Bluetooth technology allows your device to be up to 45 feet away from the speaker while still maintaining connection. Compatible with IOS and Android, you’ll experience that classic Marley sound no matter how you connect. You can also choose to split the speakers up. Take the right channel outside and use it on its own while the left channel stays behind, where it can play tunes in the bedroom.
