The Meeting Room cafe will be popping up on July 6th for a summery celebration. We are passionate about welcoming and supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community and so this month's cafe will also be an "Equali-tea" to raise money for Stonewall. We will be offering a larger range of herbal teas, as well as tea and coffee, soft drinks and of course home made cakes, the proceeds of which will be donated to Stonewall. More information here: www.stonewall.org.uk/get-involved/get-involved-fundraise-us/hold-equali-tea-and-raise-vital-funds-lgbt-equality. There will also be live music from local cellist and cafe volunteer Kirsten Miller, with Jane Newman on the piano. We look forward to seeing you there for the final cafe until the Autumn! The Meeting Room Café is a grassroots, not-for-profit initiative in the heart of Cathays, seeking to bring people in the local community together in an inclusive and friendly space. It takes place on the first Saturday of the month between 11am and 2pm. Low on cost but high on quality and community spirit, everyone is welcome. We serve a variety of lunch options - all vegetarian and mostly vegan-, as well as hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes. We try to always offer gluten free options too. And every month there is live music for you to enjoy.
