Local Sessions Presents: Fire Fences, The Rotanas & Skip Curtis - Local Sessions at Tramshed - Cardiff

๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰We are BACK with a SECOND edition of Local Sessions at Tramshed taking place in The Waiting Room at Tramshed! After successful launch of our renewed concept we are going strong and will be welcoming THE INCREDIBLE: Fire FencesCrowned as Firestone UK Battle of the Bands Champions, Fire Fences are an energetic 4-piece band from South Wales and are proving to be one of Walesโ€™ most promising and exciting young bands. Since entering the music world, Fire Fences have been making big waves on the indie-rock scene. โ€‹In 2018, Fire Fences played All Points East, their biggest festival to date at Victoria Park in London. Since then Fire Fences have been locked away in the studio recording with Jayce Lewis at Northstone Studios in preparation for their next release this year! The RotanasThe Rotanas are influenced by the great British bands of the 90s but their sound is unique. They have expanded way beyond the iconic songs of the past to come up with a sound for the future which is both gritty and smooth; instantly catchy but also subtle and sophisticated. Having been named as one of This Feelingโ€™s Big in 2019 acts and as one of NewSoundWalesโ€™ 10 acts for 2019, 2019 promises to be a big year for the band and having already gotten off to a blistering start there is definitely more to come before the year is out with shows and festivals throughout the summer.Skip CurtisOriginally from the Valleyโ€™s, singer-songwriter Skip Curtis always found escapism in writing music and originally pursed a career as a writer and producer for other artists. In March 2019 he released his first solo material earning acclaim from diverse audiences across the industry. On his move into releasing music as a solo artist, Fortitude Magazine commented that 'Skip Curtis has taken these steps with the impressive swagger usually reserved for seasoned veterans' calling him 'an artist with so much versatility to offer'. His sound has drawn comparisons with the angst-ridden indie of artists like Elliot Smith, Jeff Buckley and the energetic alt-rock of bands like The Cure and The War on Drugs. His new single 'Messed Up' was released in March 2019.๐Ÿ”ˆ๐Ÿ”ˆ๐Ÿ”ˆ๐Ÿ”ˆWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: - FREE ENTRY ๐ŸŽŸ๐ŸŽŸ๐ŸŽŸ- GREAT SELECTION OF BEER ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ- THE BEST NEW MUSIC COMING OUT OF SOUTH WALES ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ๐ŸฅCome for a drink and discover your new favourite artist! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป
