It was Moth. He had somehow passed her on the path. Raynor felt a strength and sureness in his grip that she hadn’t since they forded the glacial meltwaters of an Icelandic river a few years earlier. It almost felt like a party on a path because everyone had their own joy that they were bringing to it.
