Arianna was alright. I understood her character and am glad she grew throughout the book. I honestly thought she was alright, not my favorite character. However, the two together were cute. I love how Arianna was so concerned and worried about her past (because that’s all she knew) and Cash, after learning about some of her past, gave her the time and all of his attention. I couldn't get ENOUGH of Cash & Ariana.. I just wanted a years LATER epilogue! I NEEED it like I need air to BREATHHHHHEEE SAV! PLEASE! From USA Today bestselling author Sav R. Miller comes a marriage of convenience romance inspired by the Eros and Psyche myth. I actually think this one is my favorite so far in the series. The story is based off of Eros and Psyche - which is another favorite Olympian couple. The two main leads revolve two characters we seen previously- Ariana (Elena’s younger sister) and Cash (Lenny’s older brother.) It can be read as a stand alone, although best be read with the previous four books beforehand. Honestly, If you’d told me prior to reading this book that any of the male leads would rival Jonas for my affections, I would have laughed in your face, then enters Cash. He’s basically imprinted on me because I finished this book a couple nights ago and he’s still on my mind.

I just loved the romance in this one, everything about it worked for me. How much they wanted each other, how much they were into each other, their obsession and their possessive thoughts, their want to be together no matter what happens, the hurt/comfort and the super sweet moments between them, the steamy scenes and how lovely they were, the characters and how nicely developed they were and how well they fit together, and the dark romance elements were super wonderfully done, but mostly, just how good of a couple these two were and how lovely their romance was. This book got me from the start. I just read the prologue and I was so hooked. I already knew from the first lines that I would be into this story. This book has such a wonderful start and it was so gripping. I couldn't put this book down and I It was so heartwarming seeing Kal in father mode. I actually like the brother-in-law role that Kal has for himself. He cares not just for Elena, but for her loved ones. ariana. if i ever get to meet you either in the afterlife, or my imagination i’m giving you an enormous hug, and hopefully you will let me. you are such a strong woman and you deserve every single sliver of happiness and obsession that cash—or your readers give you. Her new husband treats her as an equal, as a partner (which is more than most women in the Mafia world get). But she can't help but wait for the monster that her mother assured her, will ALWAYS come.Nobody asked him to step in. I had everything under control, but by the time I shuffled onstage, there was no chance to stop him. Men ogled and touched as I offered my body and soul to the highest bidder, and I could tell my stranger didn’t like what he saw. Or maybe he did. Maybe he liked it too much, and that was why his number shot up. My new husband treats me as an equal, which is more than most women in my world get. Still, I find myself constantly expecting the other shoe to drop; for the beast who hides himself away—except in the dead of night—to show his true colors. FINALLY, my review for souls and sorrows! i’m not going to lie, i was this close 🤏 to dnfing it. it was up there with redeemed in terms of dnfing it, it wasn’t necessarily because of the plot but more or so how slow it started and i was very frustrated with the plot & how it began. Sav R. Miller proved it again!! I already knew this story was gonna be superb. Cash and Ariana stole my heart from the very instant of the book. The chemistry and electric spark between them OMG SO HOT!! SO INTENSE!!

Cash being a lawyer is dangerous and he will go to anything just to save Ariana. His instant want for her was just so satisfying throughout the book. The only thing I wished the author should have maybe expanded on was why Ronnie, the driver was the first notified that Ariana’s dad was dead. Even Cash seemed confused as to why. There was a slight explanation, but it didn’t clear the issue entirely as Cash was still suspicious. Cash, I think he has to be one my faves MMC Along with Alistair. The whole smart, clean-cut lawyer vibe-with the glasses who is actually possessive and a little crazy. Kinda did it for me.
