That said, I've always found playing the role of my character to be a lot of fun. I've seen many, many people say it's weird, stupid, or that roleplayers are people who need psychological help. What I've never understood is that most of those people probably enjoy seeing a movie, or a play, and those actors are doing the very thing these people profess to be weird - playing a role. This one isn't skeezy or grotesque in any way, but if you appreciate Mass Effect, the game's Krogan alien race, or good acting in general, this scene will make you cringe and then weep. Unfortunately, the easy throw was fumbled by him and landed incomplete. Don't get it twisted: Mortal Kombat 4 did a lot of things right. It sped up its combat, meaning fights were more frantic than ever. It introduced a game-changing weapons system. And most notably, it marked the Mortal Kombat series departure from 2D — and its embrace of full 3D. Said 3D worked excellent in combat. In cutscenes ... not so much.NoThis is a ridicolous poll, what is constructive here? are you saying you hate the game? its MMORPG, not mmog.

Now, CAN it be cringeworthy? It really depends on each person's tastes and on the characters, in my opinion. I for one am not a fan of "out of the universe" roleplaying (I don't know if that's the term in English, but it is when they add elements that have nothing to do with the lore of the game to their characters or their stories, or even ignore the game's setting completely) and I find super edgy characters to be really cringeworthy. Sure, they do it real time, and get paid astronomical amounts of money to assume a role, but it's basically the same thing, simply the vehicle is different. One skill he hasn't exactly mastered, however, is laughing. At one point in the game, summoner — and Tidus' love interest — Yuna tries to cheer up a dispirited Tidus by forcing him to laugh. He... well, does his best.

If ridiculous roleplay builds don't ask to nerf dungeons then I don't mind people roleplaying. As simple as that. On October 25, 1964, Jim Marshall, a star defensive end for Minnesota, recovered a fumble against the San Francisco 49ers. He scooped the ball up and ran 66 yards down the field and into the end zone. Unfortunately, he had run the wrong direction. The four-year veteran was so excited that he threw the ball down in celebration. This action resulted in a safety for the opposing San Francisco team. YesI have come across some people who refused to help with a boss, because it would break their chracters immersion since they swore never to hurt mudcrabs. So that got me like, oh god why.
NoI've been called a roleplayer because I occasionally *smile* or *giggle* in chat. I guess that's part of it. This. I've roleplayed in other games where people have godlike characters. One I saw was a vampire / werewolf hybrid, of Van Helsing style with a modified crossbow that was the D&D version of an assault rifle ( the character had apparently modified the crossbow to fire at least eight bolts in one release or some such nonsense ) and couldn't ever die unless a certain specific set of conditions were met that were just out of this world, almost literally. I've also encountered a lot of people who roleplay, but can't seem to differentiate between the character and the person behind the character. One of my last RP group in another game was consistently receiving indignant private messages about "why was he so mean" because his character had a very abrasive personality. They simply assumed that because the character was horrible, that the person playing him was horrible too, which couldn't have been further from the truth. Role-playing games can take us away to far-off places full of magic, excitement, colorful characters, and memorable moments. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is no different, and can actually offer more in terms of mature content. Sometimes, however, it misses its mark, like with the "Lesbomancy" scene, in which the mage Philippa tries to heal Saskia with a kiss on the lips. A dwarf named Skalen Burdon then quips, "My favorite type of magic: lesbomancy!" Our least favorite type of humor: dirty dad jokes. Punk AF and down for whatever, Chloe is the proverbial manic pixie riot grrrl. She's tough as nails, she's got rad taste in music, and she moves the game's twisty, time-jump-y story along. She also has one of the most aggressively annoying linguistic quirks that has ever — and likely will ever — curse an otherwise hella beloved video game. Enjoy.
