Tickles & Tarts - The Big Top - Cardiff

A hilarious night of stand-up comedy and sketches, featuring the best comedy people we could round up in the pub, using money as a means of coercion. Only kidding, we haven't given them any money.Special guests include**subject to availability.Hosted by Joe Granville (currently banned from all social media websites, for reasons completely unrelated to stalking.)Paul Scoble - Paul Scoble has been doing stand-up comedy since 2014, he gigs regularly, and runs and MC's a comedy club in South Wales. Paul recently debuted his first hour show "Stand-up Idiot - A One Idiot Show". Paul Mines a rich seam of material that is frank, funny and sometimes painfully honest. With sharp and intelligent writing, he will undoubtedly make you laugh but he will also make you think about the human condition.Richard Lindesay - Richard is the world’s premiere flute comedian, and his joke-writing abilities have been compared to TV’s Milton Jones, but his flute playing has not been compared to James Galway.Gilly Webb - Gilly Webb is a very exciting new voice, she’s new to the scene but her talent belies this, warm self-deprecating style, and with razor sharp observations she is winning friends wherever she performs.Dai Rhys Towler - New face on the comedy scene, but has already started his own fantastic comedy night ‘Joke in the Oak’. Guaranteed better comedy than his welsh! Daf Rhys - Don't judge a book by the fact it looks like a child. This child-man has been dishing out jokes from the Wild West Wales to Birmingham in his first year of comedy.Steffan Alun - Steffan Alun is a TV presenter, radio host and actor – but he does those things in Welsh, so you won’t have heard of him. First and foremost a comedian, he has supported Elis James on tour, has performed full runs at the Edinburgh Festival every year from 2015, and is a familiar face at the Machynlleth Comedy Festival since 2013. He recently completed his first tour with the solo show Romantic Comedy, after a hugely succesful run at Edinburgh, adding extra dates due to popular demand.Eleri Morgan - She has performed at the 2017 Swansea Fringe Festival as part of a comedy session. Also at the Leicester Comedy Festival with Esyllt Sears. She performed a Welsh set at the Aberystwyth Comedy Festival in 2018. She has also performed at Stand Up For Wales comedy sessions. She is also one of the presenters of BBC Wales's online series of snippets and dramas, Sesh.Priya Hall - She loves cats, comedy, and nondo’s sauce, I think maybe in that order. Catch her acting and being funny in BBC sesh’s. A true delight to have her along for the ride.
