About this deal

x 28 Posterboard (get as many pieces or larger poster board you need to wrap around your body and leave enough room), same poster board used for the straw headpiece

Metal Headband (I created the straw with a leftover piece of cardboard, added stripes with the holographic vinyl and taped onto the headband) Take another piece of cardboard and simply draw two circular shapes one larger than the other to simulate a bubble wand. Cut out your cardboard and use that as a template to cut the same piece of blue foam which you'll glue over the cardboard. This is your completed wand. Follow us on Etsy for more fun ideas for kids! This DIY Bubble Costume is a fun Halloween costume for kids who love blowing bubbles! These bubbles are made of clear balloons that last! Last, blow up your clear balloons. We actually used these special clear ones that last quite a while filled with air and won’t easily deflate. We used a balloon electric pump but you can also use an air pump although that will be harder to blow up fast and easily. To make a bubble cap, take a round piece of cardboard and add corrugated cardboard around it (the same thing you used for the bottle tube) and cut it down so it’s not so tall. Glue the two cap pieces together and then glue a piece of elastic band around it so it can fit around your child’s head.

Or you can try unconventional themes like ‘bath time buddies’.

Have your child get in the cardboard tube and measure elastic straps that will hold his shoulder up. Then glue them on the tube. Last, blow up your clear balloons.
