About this deal

You power it (and the controller) through a small usb power bank, adapter sits in between power bank and controller. cable to the USB to Host port on your MIDI controller / instrument and the other end plugs into the UD-BT01.

With a slim design, at just over 1/2″ high (16mm) and weighing just 600g it is fully portable, and made for travelers and mobile users. There's no need to install a driver; just use your preferred music software (or install any of the applications provided with microKEY Air), connect it to your computer and start playing right away!

You can easily connect wirelessly to iPad/iPhone music apps such as KORG Gadget, KORG Module, and GarageBand, as well as any MIDI-capable music production software on your Mac. With the new microKEY which supports a damper, or the microKEY Air which provides a wireless connection via Bluetooth MIDI, your iPhone instantly transforms into a high-quality sound module. The MicroKey Air supports Bluetooth Smart ‘Apple Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI’ which means you can easily connect wirelessly to your iPad/iPhone music applications such as the Korg Module, Korg Gadget, and Garageband, as well as any MIDI-capable DAW on your computer and Bluetooth capabilities, offers reliable stability and low-latency. Since the KORG microKEY is USB bus-powered, you only need a single USB cable to connect it to Mac or Windows. With microKEY Air you won't have to purchase additional software; you can start creating music right away.

I do use an adapter for the cable from UHost to Keyboard/s as I don't have the proper ones for direct connection but I haven't had problem with that earlier when I used it (USB-A Double Female). There is a sustain button that works to give you the full damper function while the octave buttons and key transpose function allow you to access the full range of keyboard notes. You've probably read the USB Tekspek, and perhaps your intrigue, or product interest, has lead you to look up Firewire as well. On the fourth keyboard, which happened to be an M-Audio KeyRig 49 MIDI controller I widely use as a testing instrument for the Musiah piano lessons software, it works fine for most pieces on the Musiah piano lessons syllabus. This keyboard is full of many surprises……not a lot of users of them, but the people who do like them seem to really like them a lot.The CME Xkey Air 25 Bluetooth MIDI Keyboard is easy to play, simple and powerful for advanced users. The microKEY comes with a serious collection of powerful music software titles including popular special editions of Korg Gadget and Korg Module plus the KORG Collection M1 Le which includes a plug-in version of the classic Korg M1 instrument. I clarified that UD-BT01 worked this way mostly because someone's earlier post suggested you might need a USB hub with it.
