About this deal

Since the tyrant was head over heels for her, he gave the country to her, turning into a very peaceful character compared to his reputation from before. Eventually, she even went as far as to send Cherla a poison that would put her to sleep for a month ㅡ so she could marry Charléans in the meantime.

Eh, this turned into more of a synopsis than a review. My bad. *abashed* If you do come across both versions there are some significant (at least I thought so) changes, with one pretty important (again, at least I thought so) scene happening differently. Both are good, though there we some cool parts in the manhwa that were not in the novel. I suppose they could always come later, as the timeline of events was a bit wonky between the two. *shrug* With the fate of the three great houses hanging in the balance, our heroes must forge an unbreakable alliance to confront the formidable dark wizard. The memories came a bit randomly, but I remembered how the original plot went. That wouldn’t be too much of a problem. Yes. I might make it after all! Scarlett's characterization is a fun and charming way of navigating the story. She's not without her own mysteries and enemies, but her viewpoint of the world and the situation she is in is very refreshing. She's accepted this is her life, plans to undercut the original female lead and steal some opportunities (especially for financial enrichment), and slowly drive everyone around her insane with her own insanity to escape the confines of the original story.Anyone is able to edit this post with an account. I remember her being abused most of her life. It came to me as if I were a bystander watching it happen. That was basically why I couldn’t treat him nicely. The six aides who assisted him—probably the closest he had to friends—were the only ones worth his time. They’re cut from the same cloth. All were considered prodigies from a young age. Perhaps that was why they could be around that tyrant in the first place. After all, he was the youngest person granted the titles of Sword Master and Sage. He has a demon sword, doesn’t he? Not even magic works against it. Yet they always reference the book they transmigrated and did things that us reader don’t know about. And how the ML builds his relationship with Scarlet inside the book that we still don’t know about 😠

Aku melihat semuanya, kau tahu? Fufu. Aku tertawa dan menusuk lengannya dengan jariku. 폭군에게 차이는 10가지 방법 | Ten Ways to get dumped by Tyrant | Ten Ways to Make a Difference with the Tyrant | 10 ℭ???????????? Compared to translated manhwa, which could honestly sound weird, it was a relief to read a relatively well written text, though it still would need some work. I like the heroine and the setup, though it is still pretty simplified compared to regular fantasy. I think this book would appeal to actual fans who are used to this kind of genre. So I would recommend this book with some reservations. The "bonus" story was very weird. It felt like a crossover event between two different series were neither was properly catered to. The rushed nature felt more sloppy and without direction or purpose. As a reader I was constantly feeling like I was missing a while other story entirely and that the characters I knew were only special guests... But I was an interloper since I didn't know there's other people in the height of their epic story. It felt like a ride interruption of a different series that would have irritated the fans of that unknown series. He was a very fair person ㅡ no matter what your social status was, if you got in his way, he would kill you. The heroine in this novel is the epitome of "Never let them guess your next move." and LMFAO, I was caught off guard every time! She definitely shines in this and stole all the spotlight! I came for the tantalizing tyrant, yet her skits won me over. After diligently performing a dozen or so actions that would cause me to be dumped by him, I succeeded in becoming a sound friend of the tyrant, who turned out better than I had thought. In short, it’s still an interesting tale but we no longer get the comedic tone as we did in the first volume. Author skipping a whole arc that showed character development as well a new character (the cleric) that was with them in the arc she skip 🤦🏽‍♀️ Kalior’s emperor was a tyrant. He rose to the throne at the age of seventeen after murdering the former emperor, empress, and all his brothers. It was said that the bodies of the men who were exploited under his cruel reign could fill rivers. Duke Arman was so cold and cruel that he tried to get rid of her by making her get engaged to a tyrant no one wanted to betroth.

Hmm. So what should I do to get dumped by the tyrant? I’d certainly get killed if I told him outright that I wanted to end the engagement.

Of course, that kind of logic wouldn’t work. Scarlett wasn’t the female lead, after all. Hmm. I still don’t think she deserved to die, though. Scarlett started harassing Cheryl from the beginning of the story, starting with those closest to her. Then she ended up sending Cheryl a poison that made her fall asleep for a month. She was the insignificant extra villainess who loved the tyrant so much that she tormented the heroine and ended up getting killed by the tyrant. Because this family was so hopeless and beyond help there was no way that alone would be enough for them.

B-but— Lucy tried to dissuade me again, hesitation clear in her tone. You are engaged to His Majesty. This… Your ankles will show; it isn’t proper… isn’t it more simple to just wait for the other girl to fall In love with the him so he can break the contract Despite everything though, honestly, it was hard to understand how such a person was, if nothing else, a sage. I really liked this one, but towards the last 10%, the translation got sloppy and rushed, like they were running out of time before the deadline hit. Still, I did enjoy it and will most definitely get and read the next one. Hopefully the translation is more consistent throughout it. I can’t believe this. I could barely keep from tearing my hair out of frustration. I wasn’t going to make it. That was, I couldn’t think of a single way to get myself out of this mess. The tyrant, Charlemagne Kalior, was, in a sense, a fair ruler. Anyone who opposed him would be killed, regardless of their status. He doesn’t even spare a glance to those below him in skill. This book is worth reading if you enjoy transmigrated female leads into the 'nobles and knights' sort of setting and would love to see a female lead who can come across as greedy, crazy, and as a bit of a prankster. Her internal narration is a delight - typically dry humor, where absurdity and introspection combine. There is also a significant focus on her family - the good and the bad - and her making bonds with them. It's always heartwarming to see true family building in these sorts of novels, and not just the romance. The overall premise of the story was quite interesting but I don't think the translation did it justice. There were some POV changes but it was hard to tell who was who, and we weren't always told a characters name but then suddenly they'd have a name which was quite confusing. Obviously, I was not the kind of person to fall for that. Ridiculous. Let’s see how long he can keep from dumping me, the crazy girl. Well, I had no idea then that none of it would go as planned. Whoever sent me here did leave me with Scarlett’s memories, thankfully. Not that they were particularly uplifting now. There were barely any happy memories to soften the cold reality. It was down to one week until the emperor’s birthday ball, the place where it would all begin. Unlike his usual self, the tyrant was said to be considerably more polite towards women. Which was to say, he wouldn’t kill them like flies. This… courtesy from him was also why Scarlett fell head over heels in love.
