Do you believe in dragons? Now, for the first time, the long-lost research of renowned nineteenth century dragonologist Dr. Ernest Drake is presented in all its eccentric glory, happily bridging the gap between dragon legend and fact. The meticulous Dr. Drake assigns Latin names to various dragon species, ruminates on why dragons are able to speak, speculates on how they could fly, and explains the true purpose of their notorious hoarding habits. Here are just a few of DRAGONOLOGY’S fascinating features:

Dragonology is a secret science, as dragons may be exploited by cruel people, so readers of the books are encouraged to join the Secret and Ancient Society of Dragonologists (the S.A.S.D), of which the author of the books, Dr. Drake, is a member. Completing activities in the activity books will help the reader become a member of the S.A.S.D, and being a Dragonologist is framed as a noble persuit in conserving dragons. The books offer up scientific explanations behind dragon mythology, as well as discussing the species of dragons which inspire this mythology. The European Dragon's head is not bare like that of a typical lizard. Although variations occur, the European dragon can have spikes, horns and frills on top of its head. Occasionally, older dragons grow larger nose horns, and even sometimes horned frills around the cheeks. I dunno why, this book was so captivating to me for some reasons unknown. I think the whole concept of the fact that dragons exist may have gotten me hooked on this book. I got it at a garage sale for a steal. My friend asked me why I was reading such a weird book, you see, I usually read different books than this one. But I'm so glad that I bought it. It has such amazing featues to the book. Dragon dust, dragons scales, dragon feathers. LOL. Made me laugh at random times. There were also riddles and envelopes. They told you about people who have encountered dragons orstudy them. SIGH, I couldn't get enough of the book. This thoroughly engaging book . . . offers readers maps, classifications, explanations of dragon biology and physiology, useful spells and charm, a detailed list of the requirements of a dragonological laboratory, and more. Interestingly, not all the taxa within this clade appear to be very closely related, and it's likely that there are several other (now extinct) taxa whose discovery might help better resolve their phylogenetic relationships. Once food is found, on occasion the predator does not kill it's prey, but plays with it. Often you will see one or two (if it has a mate) flinging its still live prey hundreds of feet or yards into the air. The reason for this is uncertain, how ever there are theories. One is that this is a mating ritual. Although the fact that mates do it as well leaves scientists baffled. The best theory is that is both play (for one) and a contributed game (for the mates). For true believers only, a lavishly illustrated reproduction of a legendary volume by the world's most distinguished dragonologist. Don't let it fall into the wrong hands! Dragonology is the formal study of creatures known as dragons, past, and present, as well as their conservation. Dragonology is studied by people known as dragonologists, people who do their work with passion.

There are four books in this series. The Dragon's Eye [10] published in 2006, The Dragon Diary [11] published in 2008, The Dragon's Apprentice [12] published in 2011, and The Dragon Prophecy [13] published in 2012.This series gives a whole new perspective on Mythology, which helps us to understand where we are now, and the true nature of the controlling mechanisms that perpetuate the harvesting and enslavement of humanity Dragons are an extremely rare genus of reptiles, who are of course studied by dragonologists. Some of them have wings, and all have between four legs to none. Many dragons are said to breath fire, which is false, as they use toxins in their mouths to create fire, poison, or in the case of the Frost Dragon, a blast of ice! As far as body coverings go, all of them have scales somewhere, though some do have skin, and even feathers.

Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons - Wikipedia

This dragon rarely speaks unless it encounters a human, and calls are rarely heard. It does make noise for mating. The fictional premise of this book is that it is a facsimile of a lost work originally printed in 1895 and supposedly written by a dragonologist named Dr. Ernest Drake [2] with the current publisher being unable to determine the truth of the matter. It presents the research and findings of Dr. Ernest Drake on the dragons of the world, their biology, behavior, and history of their interactions with humans. The book is vastly illustrated and contains a number of smaller, additional texts and tactile ‘specimens’ such as dragon scales, wing membrane, and dragon dust. [3] Format [ edit ] It is simply irresistible. . . . This book is a feast for the eyes and will draw teens like a magnet.European Dragons enjoy perching themselves on branches and crags to rest. It spends the most of its time, however hunting in flight while away from its lair, though they very rarely travel more than 25 miles away from their lairs. European Dragons do not migrate like the Frost Dragon, but they can only stand the cold for a few months. It is most active during the day, and not nocturnal like other dragons. Most, if not all, European Dragons can talk, and love doing it. Though some dragons prefer to talk in riddles, like Lyrax. Also many like to treat their lives like a game, always the most dangerous game. Like other dragons European Dragons hoard treasure and use it to impress mates. All books on dragons, wizards, or suchlike should be confiscated, and books on stimulating topics---politics, economic theory, the history of benzene in the manufacturing industries, etc---should be substituted. iki yıl sonra şu kitabı pdf de olsa bulduğuma inanamıyorum ama yani bunu kanlı canlı, ciltli olarak istiyorum Novelty item on every spread, including tactile samples of dragon wings, dragon scales, and dragon skin
