About this deal

The innovative product has been formulated with an improved blend of cleansing agents, dispersants and antiwear agents, resulting in increased cleaning and moisture emulsification throughout the lubrication system. Speaking to some other people they said its fine to run it with the engine flush in, for a day or so before draining and results are better, I have no issues with this, but I have also heard that FORTE ADVANCED FORMULA ENGINE FLUSH is a well respected flush.

Deposits and sludge build up in the engine for several reasons, one of the most common of which for most drivers is frequent short journeys. Taking a lot of short trips and stop and go driving is surprisingly hard on the lubricating oil because moisture that builds up in the oil during the previous rest period won’t have time to evaporate and leave the oil. This means the oil becomes diluted and increases viscosity and in the end it doesn’t lubricate the moving parts of the engine as well, leading to increased wear. It's been a well know trade tool for decades and those who dont know about it are obv not in the trade and are the ones who are not in a position to comment IMHO. I also have seen a mechanic use the gas treatment, but he used to bottles of it and the tank was already on its reserve, started it up and revved the guts out of the car, loads of white smoke came out, apprantly it cleaned the engine very well, is this true, or was too much forte used and is that bad for the car? I don't think many people contributing to this forum have carried out enough research to tell you if some gloop in a tin works or not. I suspect not even HJ actually runs an engine testing lab, but if he has some serious statistically valid data, then I (doubtlessly among many!) would be interested to see them. I agree with number cruncher & wouldn't use engine flush unless it was used on a vehicle from new & used every time the oil was changed. I too have had disatrous results with engine flush.Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator should be used at regular service intervals in conjunction with Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment and when the symptoms indicate that treatment is necessary. Timing belt in oil (TBIO) or ‘wet belt’ systems that are fully encased in the engine were introduced to meet emissions targets, cut the weight of components and the overall size of the engine whilst making it as efficient as possible. I have heard about these forte products, i am specifically referring to FORTÉ ADVANCED FORMULA MOTOR FLUSH (oil flush) and FORTE ADVANCED FORMULA GAS TREATMENT (petrol tank cleaner). I have heard they are the very best products to use for a car and can help it very much, I am wondering if this is true?

Forté New Generation Engine Flush is an improved blend of cleaning agents, dispersants and anti-wear agents with increased cleaning and moisture emulsification capabilities. In tests where garages have cleaned and protected engines during routine servicing using oil system protector, they reported better customer satisfaction, fewer costly wear-related repairs and reduced oil consumption. Forté Oil System Protector is compatible with all crankcase fill oils for petrol and diesel engines, including fully synthetic, which meet the specification of API and ACEA classifications. Toyota Land Cruiser KDJ155R (SWB) 3.0cc (1KDFTV) Turbo Diesel (D4D) RHD (09 - 64 reg, 8/2009 onwards) UK Toyota Land Cruiser KDJ125R (SWB) 3.0cc (1KDFTV) Turbo Diesel (D4D) RHD (52 - 09 reg, 9/2002-12/2009) PradoI would be wary of fuel system cleaners - where are they moving the crud to? I would be happier for it to stay in the low tech, cheap parts of my fuel system rather than clog my injectors, thanks all the same!

I have just had my Barchetta serviced, part of which was to have Forte Flush additive put in prior to the service. I am a little worried that it was in the engine for too long. Forté Petrol Emission Reducer has been specifically formulated to rapidly reduce exhaust emissions and help vehicles pass the new emissions test.Having been given a jar of Forte's "Advanced" diesel treatment and quite willing to try it and see what happens I would still be interested to hear the views of anyone who has actually used it and come to a conclusion one way or another.

Clean and lubricate the fuel system with Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment during regular maintenance and add Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator to ensure efficient Diesel Particulate Filter operation. Although expensive, the Comma X-Flow Flush Out is a highly rated engine flush that won’t disappoint. After a single application, you should notice that you engine is noticeably smoother and quieter than it was prior to the oil change. Use Forte's New Generation Engine Flush, DPF Cleaner & Regenerator, and Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner for a complete DPF clean. Every time your vehicle's engine performs a DPF regeneration diesel fuel finds it's way into your engine oil. If the regeneration process fails, or get's interrupted, the vehicle will try again. The more regeneration processes that take place, the more diesel fuel is dumped into the engine oil.Forté Oil System Protector is designed to optimise the performance of engine oils to combat contamination, improving and maintaining crankcase cleanliness and reducing wear.
