All of the characters introduced thus far are entirely new, separate from any traditional Generation 1 characters: a rarity in today's Transformers market. Storyboards for a pitched but unmade BotBots commercial done by Sahle Robinson can be found on the Sahl'good Studios YouTube channel, humorously featuring sound effects performed vocally by Sahle to help sell the concept. [1] Bunches, Crib Watch, Excessory, Halloween Knight, Sardank, Sugar Saddle, Trend Blend, Smooth Shaker (Lost Bot) Starscope (voiced by Sean Jordan)– a member of the Science Alliance. He serves as the team's observer and a rapper and singer. Starscope was characterized as a female in the original toyline and transforms into a telescope.

The " Con Crew", is separated into three miniature "sub-squads" that specialize in different tasks relating to a convention. Caution (voiced by Christian Potenza)– is an member of the custodial crew, he is even an nice person to all the bot bots, he tansforms into a slip hazard sign. Lady Loofa (voiced by Jacqueline Pillon)– a member of the Custodial Crew, she is confident and transforms into a sponge. Anty Farmwell (voiced by Julie Lemieux) is a caretaker of her ants, she is seen with Dinger and Batsby, and she transforms into an ant farm

The premise of sudden exposure to Energon radiation bringing random objects to "robot life" is similar to the AllSpark Mutations of the live-action film series.The BotBots' various groups were referred to as "tribes" in most fiction until around 2021, when all media began using the term "squad" instead, likely to avoid potential cultural insensitivity issues. As such, for consistency's sake, TFWiki.net has opted to use "squad" in all instances except for fiction that explicitly refers to these groups as "tribes". Clogstopper (voiced by Christian Potenza)– one of the first 4 Lost Bots who wants to join the Custodial Crew. Clogstopper is idiotic, goofy, awkward, and prone to making very relaxed, funny and goofy decisions and unintentional comedies that usually cause odd problems for his groups. He hopes to go to the Custodial Crew as his own dream, Additionally, he is very funny compared to the others in his favorite comedy, he even uses a hand puppet sometimes. Clogstopper is also interest in Fottle Barts. He transforms into a plunger. Ring-A-Ling (voiced by Ana Sani)– Dave's company phone which turned out to be a BotBot that controls everything on herself. She is one of the few that’s not based on one of the toys. On that note, many characters have Autobot and Decepticon insignia on them (though the latter has not been found on anyone without the former also present). However, it does not appear that this is meant to indicate factional allegiance… but in-universe marketing. Absolutely no mention of the Autobots, Decepticons, Cybertron, or the like is made in the promotional materials, only "energon". Several 'bots like Skillz Punk have both faction symbols on them, typically in the context "Autobots vs Decepticons" branding. It looks like in this universe, "Autobots" and "Decepticons" are… well, intellectual property used to advertise products. Meta!

Fottle Barts (voiced by Lisa Norton)- A member of the Hunger Hubs, she is the best friend of Ulf the Orange and always an nice and handy pal. Barts is also interested in Clogstopper. She transforms into a red-colored ketchup bottle. STUFF BROUGHT TO LIFE: BotBots are mischievous little robots who came to life from everyday objects inside a shopping mall!
