Grass Collection– The grass box has a pretty decent capacity and will store a nice amount of clippings in there before you have to stop and empty it. The mower does a good job of collecting these clippings too. The grass box is a little flimsy though and when lifting it up with a full load of clippings inside, the handle can come off! You can fix this easily by putting a couple of self tapping screws into the handle though and it’s something I’d recommend you do just to re-enforce it. For larger areas, you can add an extension cable to really maximize the use of this mower. This means it’s not as far-reaching as a cordless lawn mower but it will last a lot longer so may actually be more useful for medium lawns. A corded lawnmower is easy to use as it’s always ready to go. Simply plug it in and you’re off. The cord length will limit the area you can cover and most Flymo lawnmowers come with a 10 meter cable. An extension cable is a good option to extend the area covered.
