magnolia was somewhat likable in the end, but she’s still the absolute bane of my existence, i just liked her because she helped daisy a lot. First of all, these books carry Daisy’s name in their title so why in the nine circles of hell did we agree on witnessing the nonsense of Julian’s love story with - once again, going three for three - MAGNOLIA PARKS.it wasn’t easy for her, she left her whole friend group, her brother, and the love of her life behind. When he had that PTSD episode he never apologized or really explained to her what happened to him and his parents and his fears because of this. I also don't get how Julian fell sooo in love with Magnolia, like this 31 years old guy didn't love a girl in all his life but fell for a girl he kind of date for 3 months who keep telling him that she is in love with BJ (as she should) and that she thinks of BJ while she is having sex with him (as she should).

That scene where she interrupted the gang meeting was the most second hand embarrassment I've gotten from a character in a LONG time. It's seems pointless to waist that much of the book in the "love story" of Julian and Magnolia when we all know that she is never going to love him and that it's going nowhere. I can’t trust anything I think I see in his feelings for me — I can’t read him, even if he’s the only thing I ever want to read for the rest of my life.My heart absolutely breaks for her and I hate that we never seem to dive as deep into her trauma as we do with other characters.

After finishing, I was left feeling like Christian and Daisy were afterthoughts or side characters, which makes no sense in a book carrying Daisy’s name. A clear theme in the series is how the female leads use men as coping mechanisms and jump between guys, which I know is because they’re being portrayed as real and flawed. i honestly hope that this is just a cover and he doesn't gaf about her because i am tired of this supposed menage a trois that is actually a Henry-Taura love story) after that Taura chick that CLEARLY doesn't want him. Like we all knew that Julian was in love with Magnolia, which I agree doesn't make any sense, we didn't need that many chapters to get it in which many scenes are exactly the same as in TLWH.I hated how he reacted to Daisy's reaction to the sex tape, but he moaned Daisy's name so I got over it. Because for Julian, falling in love isn't just unwelcome - it could be deadly for everyone involved . imo julian deserves way better than magnolia, because we all know magnolia can’t love another man like she loves beej.
