About this deal

Cycling is more dangerous because you’re out on the road where you’re more prone to unpredictability and risk. The bike itself has some nifty features, including a phone holder that also charges your phone wirelessly if your phone is suitably equipped (although we found large phones such as the iPhone 12 Pro Max don’t work), and by USB if it isn’t. The flywheel is only 4kg, but it still runs smoothly and, in our experience, provides a good challenge for even fit users, with 30 levels of magnetic resistance. If you have the budget, you shouldn’t need to look past the S15i, and with a hefty discount available below using our link, you can’t go far wrong with this. Finally, a 5 year frame warranty and 2 year parts and labour warranty give you plenty of peace of mind.

Weight loss: a spinning session helps you burn between 200-300 calories for each 30-minute session.

What we Liked about the Nero Sports Bluetooth Bike

The IC2 is a joy to behold and even better to use. There is absolutely no doubt when you set eyes on this studio bike that it is a machine of extremely high quality. It looks and feels sturdy and the high grade aluminium frame is sure to stand the test of time. The S15i is incredibly comfortable to use, has all the expected adjustability and is also easy to move around despite its 80kg or so of weight. You also get a couple of dumbbells with it which can be stored on the bike to incorporate some upper body resistance training in to your workouts.

They mostly work your butt, thighs, and calves. Even when you’re standing, you’re only just moderately engaging your core and your upper body. Consider the nice-to-have features that will make your experience that little bit nicer. Do you want a tablet holder so you can catch up on Selling Sunset while you pedal? How important is a water bottle holder to you? How about a touchscreen LCD monitor? And what metrics would you like the LCD display to present? (Think: heart rate monitoring, cadence or watts). If you’re a cyclist, there are plenty of factors that can foil your best intentions to get a ride in: rush hour traffic, unpredictable weather, and busy schedules are at the top of the list for many. While it's not quite the same thing, a cheap indoor exercise bike allows you to still sneak a ride in even after the sun has set. Even if you don’t usually ride a bike outside, the convenience of having a stationary exercise bike in your home can definitely elevate your fitness journey. If you're looking for a basic exercise bike, the key things to consider are flywheel weight, stability and adjustability. A lightweight flywheel will have less inertia, meaning it will be harder to keep spinning, and can often feel like pedalling through treacle. A heavy flywheel can take a little more effort to get up to speed, but once you're there it provides a slightly more natural ride feel. Many exercise bikes allow you to choose the level of resistance so your workouts can be as varied and as challenging as you like. Depending on your budget you can opt for a light-use cheap exercise bike which is ideal for those looking to build up their fitness, through to spin bikes designed for intense use and increasing your speed and endurance. FOLDING EXERCISE BIKEOne thing the app doesn’t do is adjust the resistance; you’ll have to do that manually to hit your targets. The higher-priced Bike Plus, seen below, can offer this functionality. XS Sports SB500 is best for people who have a slightly bigger budget and want a straightforward, functional spin bike that allows you to grow into your fitness level.
