Since the release of Now 102 in Easter 2019, the corresponding Now album from 100 volumes ago has been re-compiled and re-issued on 2-CD sets on the same day. It also features enduring favourites from Sinead O’Connor, Billy Ocean and Billy Idol, and iconic pop classics from Vanessa Paradis, Bananarama, and a stunning performance of ‘Candle In The Wind’ from Elton John.

The first sixteen volumes were all released on the same date, with the final four being issued four months later. A video selection was also released on VHS featuring a selection of tracks that featured on the main album release. Disc 2: 1 - I Should Be So Lucky, 2 - That's the Way It Is, 3 - Come Into My Life, 4 - Who Found Who (Feat. For the 30th anniversary of Now in 2013 and the release of Now 100 in Summer 2018, the first Now album was re-compiled and re-issued. Released in association with the Official Chart Company to "celebrate 70 years of the official UK singles chart".The 4-CD series follows the same general format of the original Special Editions series, with genre, era, and decade collections, but over four compact discs (there is also an abridged vinyl version of Punk and New Wave and Rock), meaning they contain more tracks than the original special editions, but fewer than the Now 100 Hits, which preceded this series. The original Now Dance series began in 1985 and has been released in a variety of titles, formats, and release frequency.Pump up the volume on Disc 2 with Hip-Hop infused ‘Buffalo Stance’ from Neneh Cherry and floor-fillers ‘Good Life’ from Detroit natives Inner City and ‘Hey Music Lover’ from S’Express. I'd been looking at photographs taken when I was young, pictures of teenagers hanging out in Crawley on what must have been a Saturday afternoon, and it struck me that my life did not just exist in the present – it also included the past. Initially, a special edition of a Now compilation was quite rare, and between 1994 and 2002, there weren't any released at all. And then one day, when I did look back in an Um Bongo advert-inspired state of confusion, it was this album that started to make sense of everything that had happened between the past and the present. All series with the exception of United Kingdom and the United States have been discontinued, New Zealand had two more albums released as a playlist only on Spotify, South Africa had three more albums released as a playlist on Spotify under DJ Kurtis.

For example, the rap material is all up front, while the hard rock tracks are sequestered together at the end. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. The answer is ‘yes’; the original 30-track compilation is now 28 tracks since Eddy Grant’s ‘Gimme Hope Jo’Anna’ and Whitesnake’s ‘Give Me All Your Love’ are both AWOL. Vinyl in EXCELLENT condition, MINIMAL superficial surface marks and minor background noise in places. For me, the idea of it being in a constant state of now is part of its thrill, and my own now started with Now 11. Pop gems from Living In A Box, Brother Beyond and Samantha Fox had to be included, along with the last top ten smash of the 80s for Duran Duran with ‘All She Wants Is’.

It's obvious to me now that, for instance, Billy Idol's Hot in the City came from a different artistic place to, say, Kylie's I Should Be So Lucky, or that Mel and Kim's That's the Way It Is was ripping off club sounds while Bomb the Bass were more like the real thing, but when I was listening to all this stuff for the first time the songs' origins or authenticities didn't matter. Now Dance 92 (2 November 1992) Uniquely, 2-LP/2-MC/CD* with 12" mixes,*single CD with abridged tracklisting and 7" edits. November 2020) David Bowie, Patti Labelle and Michael McDonald, and the Real Roxanne are the tracks that are missing. on 24 July 2015, the release dates in the UK and Ireland have been the same following the announcement of the Global Release Day campaign by IFPI, which became effective on 10 July 2015.

A triple-CD only release, Yearbook Extra: The Collectors Edition, is issued a few weeks later; these include lesser known tracks and more songs by big artists included on the main album and they are released only in standard gatefold wallet packaging. Elsewhere it's political (Gimme Hope Jo'Anna), danceable (Krush's House Arrest), French (Joe Le Taxi) and even educational ("H-O-U-S-E spells house" – thank you, Beatmasters feat the Cookie Crew).
