Visually, this is simply an eighties gem of a superhero comic which look exactly like an eighties gem of a superhero comic. And “Man of Fear” seemed like an afterthought, being more of a re-purposed retelling of Daredevil’s origin that Miller had originally created for a potential Daredevil film that never happened. This book stands apart from Miller's other work in that, while the quality is (very) high, it is a serial. Colan's Trapster-as-Daredevil looked really creepy-faced, and of course he removed the opaque eyelets.
