About this deal
The book took me through a range of emotion and even left me teary in places seeing the friendship they'd once had, the hurt that was left over, the anger that was thrown around and the hearts that were left bruised. Respect for this being, like, the first major popular bully romance but I just couldn't get into it. You want them to be together, but in the same time you want Tate to kick him in his manly parts and move on. She wasn't suicidal like Kimberly but I wish she was because atleast that way she'd have some depth to her character.
I have found myself a new author to obsess over and my only regret is not reading this fantastic book sooner. So I'm not going to get into any social commentary regarding this books portrayal of bullying and all its evil.Der tatsächlichen Problematik von Mobbing unter Heranwachsenden und seinen Auswirkungen auf die Betroffenen kann dieser Roman sicher nur bedingt gerecht werden. She is determined to ignore Jared’s antics, have a good year, and make the most of her last year of high school. Tate loved Jared, but was afraid to tell him that, because he was super popular and she wasn't confident enough to share that with him.
Maybe he didn't feel good enough for her and was trying, in the only way he knew how, to look out for her? Biography: Penelope Douglas is a New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author. But this book did it for me and I’m not even sure why because I have totally read better books with more gripping plot lines but this book just had me by the throat from beginning to end. It of course didn't excuse it, but knowing what had happened in his life, you could at least understand where he was coming from.and I don't believe that I have ever seen a single woman as vapid, shallow and senseless as all the ones who exist in this novel. His reason was not even a good one 😭 I mean, Black Knight (no comparison but still) had a HUGE plot twist, but this one was lame.
