I adored Hutch and Kendra (btw Mrs Miller I totally love the name Kendra) to the point of distraction.Perhaps the author just didn't feel the need to add in a true child's touch to her voice, but it felt wrong to me. The trees, the mountains around them, the space everywhere and even the sky looks so much BIGGER than in the city.
