What a whirlwind of an ending! I liked this book so much better than the first in the series, Once Upon A Broken Heart. Though I do have some minor complaints about this book as well. Do I think this is the best-written story of our generation? Hmm…nope! BUT it is really fun and silly, and if you like a young adult, slow-burn romance in a fantasy setting, this is the book for you!

After this book I’m a firm believer in this. The last part doesn’t require to them obviously, because they WILL get their happily ever after. No discussion there.Chaos is a great villain. I was genuinely awed and horrified by his actions and all of these things he did to Evangeline were awful. Later, Evangeline is invited by the Empress Scarlett to have tea with herself and her sister, Donatella. Evangeline accepts the invitation, and Scarlett asks her to be her ambassador to the Magnificent North, where she would participate in their traditional event, Nocte Neverending. seeing this after the end hurts more than i ever couldve imagined i really will never be okay what happened to the happy moments ??? Isn’t this edition beautiful? We cannot wait for you to see all of the other artwork on this edition too! When I read the final few chapters, my jaw was open, my eyes were watering, and I kept whispering, "oh my god" and "no" over and over. And then when it was all over and I'd read the epilogue, I just stared at the wall, tears running down my face, and then silently marked this as read.
Apollo and Luc were okay-ish, also Apollo at the end is making me wanna punch him so bad🥲🥲 But Chaos as the supporting character was chef's kiss. I need more of him 😩😩 The man is HOT🔥🥵 LaLa was kinda meh. THIS ISNT FUNNY, THIS ISNT THE END THIS LITERALLY CANNOT BE THE END. theres another book i refuse to believe there isnt another one otherwise stephanie garber is officially the #1 most cruelest author of all the authors ive read from Why.
