Went on a business lunch and the staff were appallingly rude and abrupt when asking simple ,normal questions. The service was first class and it was obviously so clean and looked after with great pride, what food we had was of top quality and delicious. We are very pleased you enjoyed your cream teas and it is always nice to talk to people from other countries. We visit each year when on holiday in Weymouth and have always enjoyed the food , the welcome and genuinely friendly, attentive service. As we did not know of anywhere to get a good Sunday roast looked on internet and found Stanley's in Frinton on sea.It combines the very best of our Holme Grown and local produce to bring you good honest food with a modern twist. The cake is also to die for, which they were happy to box up for me to take away because I was stuffed. us not realizing that scones and cream tea is kind of sacred here and not a casual “throw it in a bag” type of food.

Sad to say another hate of ours is cold plates and these were barely warm when put on the table hence our food quickly lost heat so a good portion of my food i had to leave as was really cold by now.

At Stanley’s we like to offer a dining experience to suit you, whether you’re after an early morning breakfast, relaxing brunch, long lunch or afternoon tea we can cater for all. My wife and I come at at least once whenever we’re in Weymouth- run by a lovely young lady and her father, Stanleys do good lunches and fine coffee. Tim and Charlotte were the nicest people, so friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and just wonderful to talk to.

We’re visiting from the United States and stopped there because my father wanted some real English scones. What with the room being cold and barely warm plates it does not take long to completely cool the food down what is on the plate. Had lunch here for the first time with hubby and 4 year old, cozy little café with friendly staff and several options on the menu and specials!Been meaning to try Stanleys for a while and finally we did and was disappointed the first thing i noticed was how cold this restaurant was upon entering so much so that we kept our coats on whilst we ate which is not something we.

Our last visit was for lunch but we have also been for breakfast, Sunday lunch and bottomless Prosecco afternoons. Stanley's is the place for the local community to meet over a cup of coffee in the comfy zone or feast on one of our holme made burgers in the cafe. Wont’t go again, food was below average anyway, totally ruined my business meeting, was recommended this place as a professional business. evening celebration, the food could rival any London restaurant, from starter to pudding there is not one thing wrong.We were on a long weekend break in Weymouth to celebrate my 80th birthday and were looking for a cafe to shelter from the horrendous rain .
