ZZ Plant – Zamioculcas zamiifolia Blue light or mixed light bulbs are suitable for starting seeds and leafy greens, as well as non-flowering house plants. LED lights are perhaps the best grow lights for the home grower. They’re not too expensive and are more energy-efficient than fluorescent lights. Each diode can emit a different wavelength of light, so multiple diodes can be combined to create just the spectrum you’re looking for.Fluorescent lights: Another popular option people use to grow plants indoors is fluorescent lighting. These lights are affordable, decently energy efficient (though not as much as LEDs) and can provide a great spectrum of light to help promote plant growth. The main issue that can come with fluorescent lights is that their output can produce excess heat, which can cause problems. To deal with that extra heat, it can help to use a fan to pull out extra heat and expel it.
