About this deal

While the CM6 design has been updated, some people have complained that these are not Real Riders which means the tires are plastic. At least they look better than the standard, mainline wheels, and the base is made out of metal. And it's good to see that this new series also has a hidden Chase model to look for. And, at the end of the day, you can always choose to skip buying a new set from Mattel, as there's a good chance that something more interesting will pop up in no time. The real-life Ford GT-40 MkII upgraded to the 427ci V8 from the 255ci of the MkI, and featured a 4-speed gearbox built by Kar Kraft. The MkII GT-40 raced very successfully at endurance championships and notably dominated the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans in a 1-2-3 victory. Orange stripe op top & sides, Dark Blue "15" in White circle on sides & hood, HW, Ford & Gulf logo on sides The 2016 Ford GT Race casting depicts the Ford GT GTE, which raced from 2016 until 2019 in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship. It was created by Ford to return to racing 50 years after their first overall victory at Le Mans with the Ford GT40. The GT40 Mk IV earned its place in racing history when it won Le Mans 1967 with American drivers, crew, chassis and tires. This remarkable achievement remains the first and only All-American victory in the legendary 24-hour race at Le Mans.

Red & Blue Striping along top & sides. Blue Circle '4' on sides & trunk. 'Gumball 3000' logo on rear quarter fenders & hood. Specialty: With a racing-based engine, the 3.5-liter V6 produces more than 600 horsepower to bring the racecar to the streets. An up-angled grille, downforcing active rear spoiler and butterfly doors give this superlight supercar what it takes to rule the neighborhood! The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is touted as being the fastest Mustang of all time, with a 5.2L supercharged Predator cross-plane crank V8 producing 760 horsepower. Ford badge on hood, detailed headlights, red stripes on hood and roof, red and light blue stripes on sides, light blue HW logo on sides. The 2010 Ford Mustang GT was based on its redesigned pony car casting, debuted in the 2008 L.A. Autoshow Giveaway and 2009 New Models. The Ford GT-40 is a Hot Wheels casting which debuted in the 1999 First Editions Series. It is based on the MkI version and was designed by Phil Riehlman. It has been used numerous times since its conception. The Ford GT-90 was a concept car unveiled by Ford at the Detroit Auto Show in 1995. It was intended to be produced in numbers, but production was cut short before work really began. This lead it to be a test-bed for the new technology of the time, and to show the world that Ford had the capability to build a supercar itself. A supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 cranking out 760-hp @ 7,300 rpm, and 7-speed dual clutch transmission work in concert to make this, "The most powerful street-legal Ford vehicle of all time." Orange stripe across top, '8' on sides & hood, headlights, 'Gulf', 'Autolite', 'Firestone' & HW logo on sides.

The '17 Ford GT is an American mid-engine two-seater sports car that is the successor to the earlier GT produced by Ford for the 2005-2007 model years. The designers drew inspiration from Ford's GT40 racing cars of the 1960s.

After the initial fanfare died down and the dust settled, the car went into storage and was forgotten for the next decade and a half. In the last few years, it has just recently been making rounds at auto shows and showrooms again, and was even yanked from being put on an auction. The car is currently on display at Hajek Motorsports Museum in Ames, Oklahoma. The Hot Wheels model of the car, however, can be found more easily. Specialty: With a rear wing and front chin spoiler, rear diffuser and a support frame, this mid-engine supercharged V8 single-seater was made for 24 hours of racing. Nevermind 1995, even by today's standards it is a supercar of supercars. The quad-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 puts out an estimated 720 horsepower, the body is constructed completely of carbon fiber and top speed is somewhere in the 250 mph range. The only hints that it's not a modern supercar is the all-navy blue interior, and wheels that are decidedly not from this decade.

Adjust the front spoiler and speed through crazy loops! Flashy styling, a roof-length air scoop, and a strut-mounted rear wing make this Mustang a horse of a different color. Specialty: Sitting low to the ground with a 40-inch overall height and V8 engine, this mid-engine endurance racer was made to win again and again and again. The Ford Mk.IV was the final iteration of the Ford GT40. The car only competed in two races, the 12h of Sebring and the 24h of Le Mans, both in 1967; the car won both races. The GT40 Mk.IV was also notable as being the only version of the GT40 which was designed and built in the United States (the Mk I to III were built in the United Kingdom), with a total of six built by Kar Kraft. Specialty: With a 427 V8 engine, fiberglass hood with scoop and two 4-barrel carburetors, this rare racing dragster was made to fly down the fast lane. Hot Wheels, "Ford" and red and dark blue swooshes on sides; #67 in white disc, dark blue and red livery.

Orange Stripe across top, '8' on sides & hood, headlights, 'Gulf', 'Autolite', 'Firestone' & HW logo on sides The Custom '07 Ford Mustang casting was created by Hot Wheels designer Jun Imai for the Modern Classics Series.

The initial livery of the GT40 Mk.IV casting resembles that of the livery of the real car which won the 1967 24h of Le Mans; the graphics of this release were done by Leeway Chang. This casting could be seen as a successor casting of sorts to the original Redline Ford Mark IV from 1969. Detailed headlamps and taillights, White & Gold tear tempo on hood and sides, White HW logo and "FAIRLANE" on sides Specialty: Built for thrills and drivability, everything in the engineering of the 2016 Ford Shelby GT350R delivers. 526 horsepower plus an aerodynamic design from the wide front fenders to the rear valance with integrated diffuser come together for a smooth and powerful ride. White & blue striping on roof and hood, Detailed headlights, Ford logo, '22' on hood, 'Powered by Ecoboost' on sides Red striping along top & sides, "4" on sides & trunk, Gumball 3000 logo on rear quarter fenders & hoodWhite, Yellow, & Red tampos, 'Power Department' & Planet HW logo on sides, Yellow & White stripes, HW logo on hood Orange front end turning into stripe along hood, roof, & trunk, "6" on sides, hood, & trunk, various sponsor logos on sides, Gulf logo on hood & sides, painted taillights It just so happens that the newest appearance isn't quite as innovative as you'd think. The Hot Wheels Speed Machines series has been a thing ever since 2010. Mattel wanted a different approach to the world of 1/64th scale model cars, so this line didn't include any fantasy machines. As the name suggests, Speed was the key feature so all of the collectibles released were either sports cars, supercars, or race cars. White striping along top & sides, "4" on sides and trunk, 'Gumball 3000' logo on rear quarter fenders & hood
