About this deal

After making cheese for 21 years in Surrey we have decided to downsize so are looking to sell our cheese vat. The volume is 950 litres to top 900 comfortably. Your grater should be sharp enough to cut through cheese or veggies without much resistance. Sharpness also matters when it comes to things like zesting—if the grater is dull, it’s likely to dig into the bitter citrus pith instead of scrape the delicate, aromatic outside. When you walk in the door or Meadows, the smells of real food await. You can tell when something is about to come out of the oven or when fresh peaches & melons have been delivered. Often the cheeses compete with garlic and onions much to the horror of many of our youngest customers. It will turn out apple sauce, tomato sauce, fruit purées, and soups just as well as more expensive food mills. Its construction is durable and, with proper care, will serve your kitchen for years. The looped metal pot rests don’t adjust, but they are designed to anchor to just one side of a bowl or pot, so you can certainly use them to hold your food mill up out of your purée. Hand washing is recommended to keep the wood details looking good over the long haul. Food mills are designed to remove both skin and seeds, but how efficiently they do so depends on the grinding disc size. Discs with holes larger than 2 millimeters will likely let some tomato seeds through, but will give you a chunkier sauce. Ultra-fine discs will produce a thinner purée free of seeds.

My father has a number of cheese making moulds etc that he wants to give away. He had a small guernsey herd and made a small amount of soft, blue and hard cheese more as a hobby but we sold it at Farmers markets. They are now downsizing and he wants to give the bits and pieces he has to a good home rather than just throw away. Grating parmesan with this attachment was a flawless experience during testing. It grated exactly like it was supposed to and could easily handle bigger batches. It also performed really well with mozzarella—though soft cheese took longer to grate than hard cheese, it didn't get gummed up or cause the machine to struggle. The food mill includes the typical three grating discs for mashed potatoes, salsa, or silky smooth vegetable soups. Two looped metal hooks allow you to rest the food mill on the rim of a bowl so that it stays in place. When you’re all done with your project, simply put it in the dishwasher for no-fuss cleanup. Cuisinart is known for its quality, and this food mill reflects the brand’s reputation. The durable design and quality materials will stand the test of time.Cuisinart cheese grater has a stainless steel body that ensures it won’t get any kind of rust stain or corrosion. it comes with three cones that you can change anytime according to your need and to be particular, these cones can slice, grate and shred very perfectly; this is like a 3 in 1 offer! Moreover, along with cheese, you can also use it for items like nuts, vegetables, and even your chocolate. A very good feature of this grater is its ergonomic handle that can be used by both a right-handed and a left-handed person. You can also clean it very easily as its parts are removable and it is very easy to assemble. Now, let’s focus on some pros and cons of this product. Cole & Mason’s electric cheese grater is very uniquely designed and its elegant and modern design is very impressive. It comes along with two grating blades which makes it suitable to use according to your requirements. It is powered by 6 AAA batteries and so at times, you would need to replace batteries if usage is very heavy. The base of the grater is a very beautiful container to store all the grated cheese and it also has a nice looking lid to cover the container. There is also a tray in the base to let the cheese stay on it. Now let’s discuss some pros and cons of this product. This sturdy food is made from durable stainless steel. The crank mechanism is easy to turn, and its wooden handle is both attractive and pleasant to hold. It includes three interchangeable stainless steel discs, so you can choose whether your purées are fine, medium, or coarse.

It should be multi-purpose and have the best quality blades for different tasks of slicing, grating et cetera Choice of two soups with a choice of today’s chunky white, granary or wholemeal bread & Westcountry butter GF roll & vegan spread available It needs to be plumbed into hot water from either gas boiler or electric heater. It also has a 3 phase motor with stand stainless steel paddle and two cheese cutters. We have never used the paddle and motor, as our cheeses are entirely hand made.

Oster electric cheese grater is rechargeable and it can be the best thing to make your dinner party as yumliscious. This item helps you grate the freshest cheese for topping on your pizzas, for putting in your burgers or simply for lightening up your pies! This little machine can serve up to 8 to 10 people at one time! Its elegant design and its small and compact size make it so comfortable and convenient to use. It needs as little effort as possible to let you give out the perfectly grated cheese and other items in no time at all! There is also a clear window to let you see how much cheese is left in the hopper. Now let’s discuss some pros and cons of this product. Unless the food mill’s manual says differently, start with cooked tomatoes that are softened and cool enough to handle. Set up the food mill with your desired grinding disc size along with a bowl or pot to capture the purée. Work the tomatoes through in batches until the remaining skin and seeds are quite dry, emptying the collected scraps into the compost as needed to keep the blade turning smoothly.
