About this deal

The power is fully adjustable in TC mode with the full 100-watt limit. As far as the performance goes though, the Aegis line originally wasn’t very good at TC, but it was better on the ones that came out after the Legend. Then, if I recall correctly, there was another one that was good but had a weird low-wattage limit. That said, the Geekvape Nova was really good for TC and the performance I got with the Aegis Max is similar to it. The Geekvape Aegis Max has a standard 510 connection, the threads are nicely made, making it smooth it attach and detach the Zeus tank, or any other tank for that matter. Protections include overheat, overtime and short circuit protection. Easily adjust these vape settings via a 1.08 inch full colour display screen. But just as a basic rundown this has the top airflow inlet which helps prevent leaking and you can adjust the incoming air to your preference. Branding was kept very nice and simple. On the metal frame, one side has “Geekvape” engraved into it, with “Aegis” engraved on the other side. The battery door features the threaded latch system on the bottom, just like the original Aegis. It worked great with no issues and I had no problem getting batteries in and out. Overall, it’s a great looking and well-built mod.

The Aegis Max kit takes a 21700 battery, so that’s what I’ve been using for the majority of my time with this device. Inside the menu mode you’ll use the up and down buttons to adjust, and the fire button to accept your selection. To exit the menu, you just press and hold the fire button for a few seconds. Turning it down to 70W seemed to hold off the burning taste a lot better but the flavour still didn’t seem as good as it did on day 1.

The Geek Vape Max100 (Aegis Max 2) Vape Kit is the latest addition to the popular Aegis family featuring a smaller and lighter kit build. The Max100 has a rugged construction and is powered by a single 18650 battery or 21700 battery ( battery not supplied) and has a capability to deliver up to 100 watts of power. Paired with the Zeus Sub Ohm tank, the Max100 (Aegis Max 2) has been designed to deliver maximum flavour and vapour. The Geekvape Aegis Max MOD is best for Geekvape Aegis Max kit and compatible with Zeus Sub-ohm Tank. And the Geekvape Aegis Max MOD can use not only 21700 battery but also 18650 battery through 18650 battery adapter. You can get adjustable wattage 5W to 100W and adjustable temperature 100°C-315°C/200°F-600°F. Geekvape's latest offering in the Aegis range is the Max, a single 21700 cell boasting 100Woutput, TC, bypass andVPC (power curve). It is encased in the familiar bomb-proof body that Geekvape have made their trademark. Is this the answer to a lot of vapers requests for single cell, 21700modthat give both power andlong run times? Thanks to Heavengiftsfor supplying the Max kit for review. So let’s take a look. In the box andspecs

The tank isn’t as new as the kit and it’s quite popular, so I’ll try and keep this brief and to the point. All the paint came off from everywhere, there was the odd bit left in the creases, but I’m adamant that with a brush or cloth I could easy get it looking brand new if I wanted to, but I was trying to break it so I wasn’t prepared to waste that time. We highly recommend using an external battery charger for 18650 battery mods, as it helps with balanced charging and prolongs the life of the battery and mod, such as from worn out microUSB port. Never use damaged or improperly wrapped batteries with this device. We recommend all 18650/20700/21700 battery mods to use matching batteries with similar brand, model, and battery state at all times. The TC mode is a little off, but it’s consistent and works well. You’ll just have to bump the temperature up a bit from your normal go-to temperature if you use SS316L. If you are a fan of the Aegis, Aegis Mini or Aegis solo design you will be a fan of the Aegis Max design.

Many companies “milk” their successful ranges by constantly adding new colours to the pre-exisiting devices or bringing out devices that are very similar (although yes the Aegis range does have some older and newer devices that are similar). The Aegis Max uses Geekvape’s AS-100 chip, which is the same chip as the Aegis Solo. It has all the modes I’ve come to expect from an Aegis device, which include Power, Bypass, Temperature Control, TCR, and VPC modes. The Aegis Max can fire at up to 100W. Find the best prices, submitted by vendors themselves for all of these categories and more such as RDA / RDTA’s, 18650 and 20700 batteries, Coils / Atomizers& more. The Max may be smaller than the original Aegis, but it is by no means a small mod. It straddles between dual battery mods and other single 21700 mods. However, given the ruggedness and the IP67 resistance, you can forgive the Max being a bit larger than other mods.

The UI is the same as the Aegis Solo. It displays your mode and wattage at the top of the screen , followed by a battery life indicator, coil resistance, amperage, voltage, and a puff counter. If you have trouble twisting the coil, then you can use the tool Geekvape included in the kit to pry it off. A nice little touch. I got the coil tool and tightened the battery cap a little bit more and Fixed! It works as perfectly as it did before! Not everything is the same, though. There are some subtle design additions on the Aegis Max when compared with previous Aegis models. One such addition is a geometric, triangular pattern in the rubber that surrounds the skeletal metal frame. Another is that ‘GEEK VAPE’ is engraved on one side of the metal frame, and ‘AEGIS’ on the other side. These changes make the Aegis Max look more refined than previous models. Powered by a single 18650 battery or even a single 21700 battery (both sold separately) the Geekvape Aegis Zeus Max Mesh is bound to last you all day, even though it can hit a staggering 100w with temperature control too and with the impressive upgraded AS-2.0 Chipset, you're bound to get flawless functionality.
