About this deal

I may from time to time choose to do a second review and amend my opinion of a product, should I feel like it and find my review criteria has evolved, or that I’ve found it different at a later date. It is an exceptional gin that, thanks to its aromatic recipe, allows you to enjoy a breath of fresh air with each glass. In the event of any safety concerns or for any other information about a product please carefully read any instructions provided on the label or packaging and contact the manufacturer. Given the intensity of the flavours, you can probably afford to make this a longer drink than usual, with three or four parts tonic to gin. Other non-essential cookies are used to track visits anonymously and collect information for making reports.

Wine spirit, the soul of the gin, is produced by using Galician Albariño grapes, and this distillate is macerated with 11 botanicals, 6 which are native to Galicia, Samphire, Sage Bay, Lemon Verbena, Eucalyptus and Peppermint. To create that Galacian spirit they needed Galician flavors to do that they started with something they most understood. And just three weeks after I carried a bottle home, Nordes came to the States, not in a suitcase, but via distributors. At first I thought maybe this was floral enough to be considered a floral gin, but the more I drank it the more I became convinced that this isn’t a floral gin, despite the handful of floral notes that were there. Nordés also incorporates 5 botanicals from overseas: juniper, which is the soul of gin, ginger and cardamom to add spice, hibiscus flower and black tea, which add floral notes and all contribute subtle secondary notes that balance the final product. Made using pomace from Albarino grapes, the botanicals include juniper, ginger, hibiscus and liquorice, resulting in a unique and intriguing gin.

A white wine grape, the Albarino (aka the Cainho Branco), which grows plentifully in Galicia, and is traditionally used to make brandy.uk accepts no liability for inaccuracies or misstatements about products by manufacturers or other third parties. While it may not be to everyone’s tastes – particularly those who are juniper-forward diehards – this is a contemporary-style gin worth shouting about, full of flavour and Galician provenance. A careful selection of the best neutral alcohols, together with the use of white Albariño Galician grapes and with the presence of 6 native Galician herbs such as sage, lemon verbena, laurel, peppermint, eucalyptus and glasswort. Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously. This gin tastes especially good as a gin and tonic, but it is also a real pleasure when served pure.
