There is more than enough space in every direction: the sleeping are per head is 70 cms (73 cms in the Zenobia 6, while industry average is closer to 60 cms), the length of the bedrooms is 210 cm so there’s some space for gear / equipment / bags in the back. The two sleeping areas are very spacious and the living area cosy, not too big but fine for us being 2 adults and 2 children. However, if you’re still on the fence and want to look at some more options, here are some great alternatives to consider.

If it’s just the 3 of us camping, we only put one of the bedrooms up so we have a bigger living space. The tent is straightforward to pitch (if you've had tents before - I would have a practise if not) although it was pretty windy when we were pitching so did need another set of hands. Great for extra space and storage and to stop the rain from coming into the tent its self as the door of the Gobi 4 slopes inwards when open,so if its been raining and the door is wet it all comes inside. If we ever camp in the wind again I wont be putting the porch on, its just a poor design and not worth the money we paid for it. and definitely needed 2 people, but once it was up it was great, lots of extra space I didn't really need as the tent is generous and there was only 2 of us, but I used it as a kitchen which was brilliant when it rained.This five-person tunnel-style tent is made from waterproof materials, featuring tension straps for extra stability. Loads of space, we could all stand up in it, easy and quick to pitch, lots of little pockets for storage. That said this is a great value for money tent which will hopefully serve us well for a couple of years before the little people grow bigger! As for ventilation, there are various air vents, I do like te window vents that help a lot keeping a steady airflow across the living area and the bedrooms. One of the main benefits of cotton canvas bell tents is that you can safely have a stove inside and this yurt tent comes with a 1pc stove jacket on the side wall.

Line up the ridge seam (highest part, centre line) of the porch with the highest (centre) pole of the tent. We have just purchased a Zenobia 6 berth tent with porch and as a whole it looks a very impressive tent.Pitched in horizontal rain with no problem; just back from a week in rainy Wales with high winds and remained completely cosy and DRY! The PU coated polyester flysheet with taped seams and water repellent zips offers total protection from any heavy downpours, and the breathable inner and mesh panels will keep you well ventilated while you shelter. You also need to think about how many bedrooms you might need: everyone wants to have a little bit of privacy. I like the fact we have four "bedrooms" as it means the kids have their own space to fall asleep in so they don't distract each other. We only upgraded as we wanted to camp for longer and were a family of 6 in 5 man tent, which had worked ok when DDs were tiny, but they keep doing that expensive growing thing.

The insect mesh doors and vents allow plenty of light and air to flow through the tent - without any bugs! Especially here in the UK, where so many beautiful and picturesque locations throughout the country are waiting to be discovered. I’ve just purchased the Hi Gear Zenobia 6 man tent and after putting it up I noticed at the top of the centre of the tent a hook above my head with Velcro going down each side of the tent exactly in the middle from roof to floor. The guys are really only a stability aid, and an adjuster to help things stand upright and also to stop the tent taking off in the wind.They also come with an upgraded set of pegs with included guide, which surely has a positive impact on their stability in windy weather.

Second trip back from using this tent (first time with porch) and overall we are very pleased with it. Yes you can, both bedrooms have a separation curtain, so you can either have 4 separate bedrooms or two large bedrooms and both sleep 4 people. Very easy to pitch and take down (took us about 25 mins) with 5 fibreglass poles which are all the same size.I've noticed from pictures posted that many people have their guys too tight resulting in misshapen tents and porches. Although the two tents are very similar, and you’d think apart from their size they are almost identical, it’s far from the truth. Generally, the more bedrooms you've got in a tent, the more storage space you have, which will come in very handy when you need to unpack for a few days' stay. The tent is also easy to pitch in one as a flysheet and inner tent - the inner tent and bedrooms are separate from the flysheet, which makes the tent more breathable and reduces condensation.
