This American-style steakhouse is chic with large plates of delicious, uncomplicated food and a lively atmosphere. A word of advice - the entrance to this restaurant is a little hidden. Diners use the lift in the Hotel Indigo reception in The Cube, as this eatery is located on the hotel's twenty-fifth floor.
The location is one of the prime reasons for visiting this restaurant as it has a 360 degree view of the city from the top floor of The Cube. Floor to ceiling glass windows and a terrace bar make the most of this position too. It is particularly beautiful at night when the city lights up. I was good at drinking it and now I make a living from it and have worked across South Africa and France learning all about wine.” Bottles is not about getting rosettes for our food, even though it will be good with everything made for sharing whether it’s charcuterie from Italy, Spain or Britain, or tapas, or even a bowl of coq au vin with mash. Embodying so much Italian charm, style and fine food that it will have you singing bellisimo from their gorgeous new flower-filled terrace. The Botanist has locations across the country and they are known for serving drinks in unusual vessels, such as flower pots. They’re not the easiest things to drink out of but they’re pretty tasty! Currently, they are serving Birds of Prey-themed drinks, in anticipation for the release of the film. You can enjoy it all in vintage style surroundings. I went for Birmingham's poshest afternoon tea to celebrate the King's Coronation and felt like a big fat queen Whether you’ve been to see a play, need to recharge after a day’s shopping, or just want to enjoy the canal ambience, the place to do it is at the Mailbox.

Marc Wilkinson's restaurant will no doubt benefit from the brilliant produce that Shropshire is known for, so we're looking forward to having another Michelin Star restaurant so close by! However, in September IPSX announced it would close down by the end of this year and Mailbox REIT has since delisted from the exchange, confirming in October that it would not seek to list the asset on another exchange. Not long to wait for those sumptuous steaks! I just want customers to come in here to relax and to enjoy themselves and to try some wines they might not have been able to afford before. The restaurant offers delightful Italian favourites (pasta, pizza and Risotto to name a few, with gluten-free pasta options available on request) and an enviable view over the Mailbox’s patio and canal.
