About this deal

Beginning March 22, members of the Bath & Body Works' loyalty program will have exclusive early access to a 5-piece set of Gingham travel-sized fine fragrance mists. The set includes three of the new Gingham fragrances—Gingham Gorgeous, Gingham Fresh and Gingham Vibrant—alongside Gingham and Gingham Love, giving members the added perk and opportunity to try and find their Gingham in anticipation of the full nationwide launch on March 31. Plant the corms 2 in. deep, pointy end upwards, and 3 in. apart. Plant in groups of a minimum of 6-8 plants for best visual impact. They are herbaceous plants which grow from a conical corm 1⁄ 2–1in) diameter, which sends up a tuft of narrow leaves 10–30cm (4–12in) long, and a sparsely branched stem 10–40cm (4–16in) tall bearing a few leaves and a loose one-sided spike of flowers with six petals. Many species have fragrant narrowly funnel-shaped flowers, although those formerly placed in the genus Anomatheca, such as F.laxa, have flat flowers. Water gently and place in a cool, frost-free area such as a coldframe at 5°C (41°F) for three to four weeks

Even though they are native to South Africa, the Netherlands is now one of the largest cultivators of these flowers. 9. Advice on buying freesias

Fill the vase with water, then leave it to warm up to room temperature. Freesias can be divas and prefer to be placed in water that's on the warmer side. They are hardy in zones 9 to 11 but can be grown as annuals or houseplants in cooler climates. In its native range in the Southern Hemisphere, freesia blooms in fall, then goes dormant when winter temperatures become too hot. In Northern Hemisphere zones, it blooms in spring and goes dormant when summer temperatures become too hot. The original Gingham is a fragrance that was created in 2019—a fresh, vibrant and happy blend of blue freesia, white peach, fresh clementine, violet and clean musk. The new launches include: Freesia caryophyllacea (Burm.f.) N.E.Br. (syn. F.elimensis L.Bolus, F.parva N.E.Br., F.xanthospila (DC.) Klatt) - Heuningrug region in the Cape Provinces

On Hachijojima island, a festival takes place celebrating the blooming of these gorgeous flowers. With outdoor tea ceremonies and the incredible sight of over 350,000 newly bloomed freesias to take in, it's quite a celebration. 7. Freesias are zygomorphic Freesia corymbosa (Burm.f.) N.E.Br. (syn. F.armstrongii W.Watson, F.brevis N.E.Br.) - the Cape ProvincesTrim the flower's stems, at an angle. This encourages them to take up more water and a hydrated flower is a happy flower. Freesias bloom readily indoors. Plant the bulbs about 2 inches (5 cm.) apart in a pot filled with regular potting soil. Keep the soil moist, but not soggy, and place the pot in a sunny, preferably south-facing window. Expect flowers in 10 to 12 weeks. Staking is advised to keep the stems upright. Alternatively, you may plant them among low-growing groundcover (like Iberis or Ajuga) for some support. Plant about 1 to 2 inches deep with the pointed end facing up. For an eye-catching floral display, plant in groups of at least six corms and space them 2 to 3 inches apart. As when planting corms in pots, add stakes to support the flower-laden stems. Watering: For growing indoors, plant any time from mid-August to late October for flowers from January through April. In the garden, plant outdoors in spring for summer flowers or in fall (in frost-free climates only) for spring blooms. In colder growing zones, start indoors in late winter and then move them outside in spring, displaying them right alongside your hyacinths, tulips, and daffodils. Flowering period:

Freesia plants in the garden should also be divided every three to five years. Since freesia plants will produce many flowers on their small arching stems, it is often necessary to support them with ring or grid-like grow through plant supports. FIRST4: Entitles users to a 50% discount on the following – Your first 4 weekly deliveries, your first 2 fortnightly deliveries or the first of your monthly deliveries. Red freesias symbolize passion and love and may be given to a romantic partner. Yellow freesias are an appropriate gift for birthdays, including for friends, family, and even co-workers.
