About this deal

Thank you so much to Capstone / Picture Window Books and Netgalley for the ebook to read and review. Add some pizazz to any pasta dish: use tofu and spaghetti to make this (vegetarian*) spaghetti yeti! This cute book is great for children who struggle with new adventures - moving, trying new things or making friends. Betty moves to a new home and finds out that things are a bit different and a little scary- even the foods they eat. But her new neighbor helps her to realize that facing new things is easier if you have a friend to help you along the way. Pour pasta sauce, soup or whatever else you'd normally serve with spaghetti around your yeti and serve it up to some unsuspecting diners.

Yeti In My Spaghetti Board Game : Target Yeti In My Spaghetti Board Game : Target

Boil pasta as you ordinarily would, but add a few drops of food coloring to the water along with a dash of salt. The results will vary depending on how many drops (and how much spaghetti you are cooking) but you’ll end up with some pastel noodles that you can eat, or just play with. This is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my entire life and I already plan to buy the physical copy. I loved that our little Yeti discovered that she doesn't hate spaghetti, she is just overwhelmed. That is important. The illustrations in this book are so fun & vibrant. I really enjoyed the message that people, or creatures in this book, come in all shapes & sizes. This is a great book for kids to learn about trying new things and making unexpected friends! The illustrations were very well done, and the progression of the story was enough to keep even the shortest attention span following along. I liked that the lesson of the story was clear and easy to understand, and that it was a pretty low stress read if you have an anxious little. I look forward to seeing what the other 3 books in the series have to offer. I absolutely loved everything about this book! I thought that art style was absolutely adorable, the plot was great, and the characters were a lot of fun to read about! Betty and her family are moving from the quiet snowy mountains to a human apartment and everything is new and scary for Betty. This book would be an excellent tool for helping a child about to move work through their fears. The illustrations perfectly match the story. The short chapters and word choices make this book easy for new readers. Betty and her family move to a new home among people she isn't familiar with and understandably enough she is a little nervous about meeting them.

This was seriously adorable, Betty was so precious. I really e annoyed the story progression how she went from being scared and shy with the new surrounding to making a human friend. Betty didn’t like new things, didn’t want to experience or learn new things but she does and she struggles with that, mama yeti is kind and understanding, which I adored seeing. Change is hard in children and I liked how it was depicted in the story. As one of the top online toy retailers, we have access to unprecedented quantities of product review data. One of the key ways that we use this data is by associating our products to the specific ages of the kids who are playing with them. Whereas most retailers must rely upon manufacturer suggested ages (i.e. 3+), we take actual customer usage and share it with you here so that you can choose the perfect toy or game.

Michigan Soap Rest - My Secret Garden

A Yeti who went to the big city after living in a small place in the antarctic. She was so disgusting on how she is trying to get effort in the city there. On the other hand, she has to hang on her new lifestyle. Put two pieces of uncooked spaghetti side by side on a table (or floor). Be sure it’s a table you can either move around or that isn’t too long. Each person blows on their spaghetti noodle trying to race to the “finish line” at the other end. This book was adorable! It appears it will be released as a series of 4 books, with the other 3 titles: This book made me think of The Magic Lunch Box when it comes to cultural differences, etc – we just have a species difference here.

Your yeti is going to be made by skewering a tofu body with dozens of strands of raw spaghetti, then boiling the whole lot together. The two family-friendly brands give a new meaning to 'playing with your food' with new, yeti-shaped pasta to enjoy with the award winning Yeti in My Spaghetti game!

Thanks to NetGalley and its author for providing me with an advanced copy of this book and its author. Thank you to @netgalley & Picture Window Books for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review. Access to all digital games and activities that are added to our collection in the future. (Multiple activities will be added each month) A very cute little tale about moving to a new city, trying new things and making friends! The drawings are utterly whimsical and I thought the Yeti family were adorable.

Now, yetis don't just like to EAT spaghetti, they like to SIT in it, too! They love to roll around and play in a giant bowl of noodles! Dani’s Review (age 8) I liked that Betty the Yeti’s family looks exactly like ours. (Mom, 2 brothers and me). I didn’t like that she didn’t like spaghetti though! Rating: 👍🏻
