Rhubarb #31 ft. Tom Weir Wednesday 29 May @The Triangle, 47 Bradford Road, Shipley7pm for 7.30 startPay-as-you-feelIn a historic first for Rhubarb, we loved our 13th guest reader so much that we've invited him back because we can't get enough! Tom Weir is one of our favourite poets and a local lad to boot, one of the many great reasons to be proud of Saltiare and Shipley :) As well as a reading from Tom, we'll have our usual open mic for poetry, prose and everything in between. Email email@example.com to book your slot and with any first-time reading queries - new voices are always welcome. Tom Weir’s poetry has been Highly Commended in both The Forward Prize and The National Poetry Competition. He was the winner of the 2017/18 Magma Editor’s Choice Prize and oneof the inaugural winners of the Templar IOTA Shots competition. His first full collection All That Falling was brought out in 2015 and his second, Ruin, for which he is grateful to have received a grant from The Arts Council, was brought out in September last year.
