I live here and loved the descriptions , the author obviously knows the Island well and her love for it shines through. She nurses her quiet drab life, keeping memories of a tumultuous earlier time at bay, until one stray remnant of that old life knocks on her front door. Totally, unputdownable, gripping, thrilling, hold your breath, heart in your throat, ignore everyone around you and just devour page after page and those are just some of the words I can use to describe this utterly brilliant psychological thriller.
