About this deal

I have lost count over how many versions there are of Cheecar's products on auction sites - you will probaby know that manufacturer for its "Fujian" brand lenses, but watch and count how many other "Brands" of the same lens you can see. Flip your iPhone or Android phones or your latest tech stuff and “Made in China” is shown quite clearly even though the design of the phone may come from some other place. Like 35mm, the virtue of M4/3 is the small size and low weight - enabling us to carry a fantasic focal-length range in a small bag.

It’s only if you’re shooting a white wall where you’ll notice it more, and really, how many of us are going to be shooting white walls all the time ;)? Just watch out for the loose aperture ring, I've seen people say theirs fell off altogether, mine has a little play but has stuck in place otherwise. I heard that X-T1 and X-T2 has split screen mode in viewfinder, which displays the full view in the left of the viewfinder, and split the the view with vertical line, in the right it displays the 10x magnified center of the image.

That means you can make use of the lowest ISO possible for the best image quality you can muster from the camera body, especially essential for older models such as my Fujifilm X-E1. Good After-Sales Service】:If you have any problems with the product, please feel free to contact us and we will solve your problem within 24 hours. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. may not offer the sheer build quality of a Leica lens, for example, it also doesn’t cost nearly as much.

The 7Artisans line of lens is the brainchild of a group of Chinese camera enthusiasts in the summer of 2015. The Jewel’s dome does not have much of a straight line so a fish-eye shot looks quite natural so long the waterfall and the train tracks on the right are straight. the very shallow depth of field can make it a bit harder to focus, but I never have real trouble nailing it with focus peaking and the zoomed-in focus checking features Fujifilm has. The second best in all of the micro 4/3 lenses tested is the Panasonic mark 2 14-42mm "kit lens" (scores only 13 in the lowest half of the DXO scale); it is also one of the cheapest. Everything does blend away very smoothly in an almost classic way but keep in mind that this is still a wide angle lens.I don’t get the benefit of changing the aperture smoothly and quietly but I get all the bollocks about accidentally nudging it.

The front filter size is 46mm, which is that odd diameter in between the 43mm some Fujifilm lenses (that I have) use like the 23 and the 35mm f/2 and the more common (especially in film era lenses) 52mm thread. The split screen is a personal preference; some will like it, and depending on the situation, it can be beneficial but I personally don’t use it much.I then ran it through RNI Films app, applying a 50% opacity “Afgacolor 40’s” with some custom adjustments. Micro contrast is great, and the color and render depth is amazing but the vignetting and barrel distortion are bad. Most retro lenses that are 25mm or in that range just outright suck, and anything by Fujifilm, Sony, or even Rokinon is four times as much money. Unofficial Fujifilm subreddit for Fuji photographers to share photos, ask questions, discuss digital photography, cameras and lenses, and share gear news and rumors. At first I thought it was due to the 7artisans’ rear lens cap design, but oem Fuji caps do not securely stay on either.

One difference that I found is Meike controls lens flare better, which is not necessarily saying much. Let’s get something clear, this lens has some shortcomings that some people might not be happy with. I can use this lens with very slow shutter speed of 1/10 or 1/8 of a second hand-held if there’s no way I can use the tripod.I can’t stop shooting it; it’s all I want to use, and as I mentioned in my previous reply to you, I’ve been shooting it more than any other camera. It has a silver ring at the front which makes the style even more fitted with the whole vintage look that Fujifilm cameras roll with. fish-eye or the 12mm rectilinear (that mans straight lines are shown as straight in the image) lenses are useful. You can still get tack sharp images in the center of the frame or if you focus stack multiple images in post, but don’t expect this ultra budget lens to compete with more expensive brands.
