The tool is expensive so you fully expect a good quality build and reliable performance. However the torque is very weak and struggles to tighten any terminals or loosen them. The overall feel of the tool is bulky and not the best to handle. The slim bits fits nicely within the SpeedE however I do recommend putting a little grease on the fitting end, this will stop the o-ring being pulled out when removing the slim bit.

Customer service from wiha is second to none, I had some issues with my first 2 drivers and these were replaced, when I lost the o ring from the end, the sales manager, Tony sent more out to me straight away. The battery lasts long enough and charging overnight is fine. It has a usb charger so can be left in the van to charge if needed. You know speedE® as Wiha's first electric screwdriver with which you can work more efficiently and in a healthier way. Wiha would not be Wiha if we left it at that. The bits are to the same high quality as the rest of the Wiha screwdriver bits.For my job (fire systems engineer) it is perfect as some of the terminations are in tight enclosures, with thumb and finger operation of the powered part it easily tightens the termination. The selection of bits you can get with it varies massively for pretty much all screw heads.At first I had thought it was a little over priced, but after working with it for some time it’s really an invaluable assist to the job. Speed-e 2 has a higher torque mode/switch and a better light on it, a ring as opposed to a single led. How ever, I have the speede version 1, although I understand the fundamentals behind it, it does need abit more guts and feels a tad underpowered doesn’t need much more, also although the light is good it could do with staying on a little while longer after the trigger has been used,

The switch position does not suit everyone (at least not me!) if it were further down the handle it would suit my larger hands, or, if Wiha introduced a ‘push to activate’ that would be kinda cool. To compare it to anything, think of a child's play toy electric screwdriver. However comparing the two would be unfair on the child's toy!
