The fragrance is quite fresh, mingling some citrus with violet leaf, light spices and a vague incense. CK Man is a light herbal scent to me, with a little this and that added for complexity (and no obvious lavender, thankfully). It's opening consists of two parts: first part is a fresh icy minty one and the other is warmer and sort of musky-incense-y.On first sniff I thought 'Generic designer' that literally gave off hints of Sauvage, 1 Million, a couple of David Beckham's etc etc and and was one of those that doesn't smell like any one frag but gives off hints of many. Bay, nutmeg, and incense layer the scent, culminating with top notes of rosemary, mandarin, and violet leaf. Lot of eastern smells going on, and I can get a lot of compliments in the dry down, again if I use a lot of it. Maybe as "tropic" said it is that (for me unknown,but now I attended to it by Wikipedia:-) Duku fruit. It's very mid-2000s in the sense it's not really sweet (like current stuff) and it's quite aromatic but missing the overload of early 00s white musk.
